So one of the upcoming summits is 'LA Lowriders'. Any more news about that?
There's a special version of a Impala up for grabs in that summit and that's about it.

Edit: Here's the summit cover for the LA Lowriders for those who haven't seen it yet.

Time to play the waiting game for this one and see my points are enough.

Also the LA Lowriders prizes are shown. Gonna go all in since the X-Bow R is up for grabs. I haven't got one and I was planning to buy one until this summit showed up and it has one as a prize car.

You look okay to me. I don't think PS4 Summits are that hard to Plat. PC and Xbox ones are war zones...

My experience is the exact opposite. Xbox summits are the least demanding of the trio due to the lower player count.

... And then there are Google Stadia summits where you probably get platinum just for taking part in one event!

Wait really for Xbox summits? I thought it looked a bit peaceful there with moderate to maximum effort needed to get platinum but that is according to my friend that is.

I'm at that point where the events not completed in the game are mainly vehicles that don't appeal to me :indiff:

Well, I gritted my teeth and had a go at Jet Sprint... :yuck:

Managed to win the first event, then failed miserably at the Vegas waterways one over and over till I gave up and moved on. I just keep hitting those damned bridge parapets :banghead: Even more annoying as the idea of racing round there is cool. I shall leave those events till another time.

I then tried the Aerobatics. Managed to complete those at Normal level, the last event was a struggle to get over the line, points wise. So I wont be going back to those in a hurry for the Hard level...

Also completed the Hovercraft at Normal level. I've piloted one in real life on a Stag do and have to say the handling feels pretty realistic 👍

Took me time to get used to them, but once I got in the zone, I cleared the events at Normal in one stint :)

Don't have any of the Summit vehicles, so will have to do some grinding :yuck:. 3 goes at the New York event should get me enough for the Alpha and the boat. Bugatti is too much, even at 20% off. And not interested in the Drift car as I can't actually do those events. I'm always crap at Drifting, lead foot!

Oh there we go the drift Evo is coming in two weeks. Next week it's the Hot Rod Special Edition then in three weeks, there's two Impala lowriders with one being a summit reward.

Also on the right you'll see a Skyline. Perhaps it's a special Skyline but we'll see once two summits are done.

It's definitely going to be a Summit Skyline. I don't think you can get that kind of front visual on the Street version.

And coincidentally, I was driving by the quarries last night and thought that it was a wasted opportunity that they didn't add RX tracks in them :)

The Crew 2 is going to be on Ubi Soft Forward. Do you guys expect anything big? Or just standard talk about game success etc?

Oh hey TC2's getting the C8 Vette neat. Oh and those other cars looking interesting.

And you got this Khyzyl Saleem designed car.

If this means we'll get only one cop car, I'm cool with it (and the C8 is a big plus). The freaking cinematics though

The other cars looked like the DD ones, but with a more "Raid" design. Not sure about that silver one.

I *think* this is what's happening.

Motorflix is going to be basically a new story mode, but with you as a cop. The story will be added in 3 "seasons" across the year from November, with "episodes" added to the story mode at intervals (two episodes or two batches in each season - he shows part 1 and part 2 in the video).

I can't see that being a major amount of new content in itself, to be honest, so i will limit my expectations. Each episode will probably (in my opinion) be equivalent to a new race in the game, with added video similar to the videos you unlock in the original "story mode".

I am guessing the same people who worked on year 2 are working on year 3 and I think it's not unreasonable to expect that level of support to decrease over time. There's a limit to which you can reasonably expect a company to support a 2+y old game with limited new game sales (most income is probably mtx for crew credits at this stage?).

So, while I'm sounding low key above, perhaps, I'm actually impressed by the level of ongoing support here

Some other comments - I agree there will probably be more than 1 cop car. They wont want to blow all the hype and surprise element in one go. The others might be added across the 3 "seasons" as new episodes are added.

Also, the new "episodes" might headline each update, but that wont be all that appears I reckon. Cars can be dropped any time in these updates. New Summits will surely still continue.

And depending on time, resource and design decisions, the new "cop mode" could be integrated into the existing game? For example, its *possible* that they might add "cop mode" hobbies to collect, or they might add "cop mode" versions of existing races/events.

Any of these "extras" could potentially add content on top of the cop missions themselves.
