Interesting to see that Crew 2 has roof vanity items on sale in the ingame store, unlike in Motorfest, where all you get are smokes, tyres and neons.

Also, how can I start the Mad skills hobby. I admit I've only barely scratched the surface of the game, but some hobbies are already active. For example, the explorer hobby.

Go to Activities > Motorflix. There you will find all the skills for vol 1 and 2 (the very last events). Not sure there are level requirements, but be aware. Those are the hardest events in the game. By far. 🤞

Stupid question that probably has an easy answer, but how do I activate the motorpass for season 3?

I'd like to get my hands on the safety car rooftop vanity, which is a reward for level 50.

And is it even possible to get those rewards anymore? The Crew 2 wiki says something about daily and weekly challenges.

I want to say that the Motorpass vanities can be in the Far & Beyond shop sometimes. I have everything unlocked on my PC save (other than some Summit vanities, but I'm getting them on my PS save)

So no chance of getting those rewards anymore then.

Hopefully they'll appear to the Far & Beyond at some point.

By the way, when does the shop update the inventory? I'm not sure, but I think I'm getting the same items for second week now.

It's been buggy for some. They normally reset after a Summit.

I'm on XBox and hasn't changed in the last couple of months. If you have the same vanities I doubt you will see any changes. Summits are the only way to obtain extra vanities right now.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago for less than a bus ticket, and I have to say I'm loving it.

Just driving around mindlessly in the open world feels super relaxing. It's the kind of game I was looking for since we don't have Forza Horizon and SCS's truck simulators available on Playstation.

Different games and all, but I haven't touched GT7 since.

A fix for this bug was posted on reddit.

I'm also experiencing this bug, and I have one question.

Is it possible to purchase vanity while this bug is occurring?

If so, this bug is not all bad, and there is a positive side to it, as it allows me to purchase light bars and simple lettered tires whenever I want without having to worry about updating the shop. (And I don't want to fix the bug because I want the light bar)

Wow I didn't know that this bug appears when you turn off recommendations. In fact when I turn on recommendations it gets fixed.

But if I turn them off and launch the game again the bug returns.
I was afraid to being forced to suffer the black screen at the start. Thankfully you can toggle them on once in game and than turn them off after checking the store.

edit:
And yes you can buy from the bugged store too.

I'm late, but I've bought vanities from both stores and successfully imported them to Motorfest.
I was very happy as I just wanted a simple spotlight and light bar.

PSA: For any new players, there are 4 FREE vehicles currently available to buy, not sure how long they stay free for...

As well as the 4 free vehicles, the Mazda RX7 2002 Drift Edition is currently on promo at 25% off Bucks price which saves some moolah. And the Yamaha YZ450F is the same 25% off for Motocross. I guess that's to give you "starter" vehicles for those disciplines.

I tried the demo yesterday and I am pleasantly surprised by how it looks and plays. I am heavily confused though by how progress is done. It feels unstructured and very messy but maybe that's me just not understanding it. The introduction by the woman and the caractères is very badly done. Terrible avatar design and présentation. However, this was forgotten once I was thrown in an évent with the Supra. Really liked that part.

All went well up to buying my starter car (S2000) but I have no clue what to do next. Is it simply drive to an évent an run it?

1) wrong topic, you are in TC2 tread while clearly speaking about TCM
2) There are training stage, before you complete 5(iirc) playlists. After that all Mainstage and Summits activities will be available. During first playthrough of playlist you can't choose your car, personal cars are more for Summits and redoing playlists with custom settings(available after first playthrough).

Probably mean Motorfest?

If so, then basically yes. First you complete the playlist, then you play the sub-challenges that are unlocked afterwards. This is the basic single-player content, and just like Forza Horizon, you can tackle those playlists and sub-challenges as you like, when you like, however you like.

This is a bit of a spoiler, but fast travel is unlocked after completing a certain number of playlists, so when you first start the game, it's a good idea to start with unlocking this feature.
