I'm really impressed at the leap forward of this title over TC2. Like simple dumb things like how the camera works tends to stagnate in franchises like this, but it looks like they've totally redone it. The sounds are vastly better (leapfrogging some competitors IMO) and the whole ambience of the game looks just superb. I've never been even slightly interested in any of the Crew titles, but I will definitely be getting this one.

My 2 biggest complaints during the beta were A) AI behavior being pretty poor, going being both a little too aggressive and at times way too defensive in driving, and having rubberbanding I haven't experienced since NFS Underground 1, and B) NOS being, imo, much, much too powerful, which exacerbated the AI aggression and rubberbanding issues. The UI and menu system also wasn't as great in a lot of places compared to TC2.

Otherwise I'm 100% sold on this game. It'll be hard going back to TC2 after playing this, but I definitely want to grind out a few more vehicles before Motorfest comes out. Is there anywhere to give more detailed feedback?

You will get a mail from ubi to give your feedback, check your spams, it's a 10 min form pretty well made

I was wondering if Ubisoft would have plans to hold an XBOX One/PS4 beta test for Motorfest.
They did an open Beta for the Crew 2 but haven't seen anything for Motorfest yet. Maybe end of August or early September?

Survey done. And I'm already missing Oahu a lot.

I hope there is another beta, I couldn't manage to do any of the grand race or demolition derby in this beta.

I enjoyed Motorfest, still thinking should I get it day 1 or wait for the first sale.

Sorry for the double post but I just don't understand some players. Was watching this small YouTuber. He have concerns about transferring cars. He want to stream and make content from fresh while still being competitive. And I wonder why? He is a veteran. He is making content since the first game. He knows exactly how many races it take to grind for every car. Specially how long it takes to have gold marching sets. Which you need to be competitive. By the time you complete the set you have enough to buy your metas. The rest of the cars you can get in years to come. I'm seriously considering not to import my cars. At least the first couple of months I won't. But I don't think it's a bad thing either. I say do what you want. There will still be things to do all the time. Even grinding races.

I know that probably won't happen, but I do hope that rims and body kits will be added to TCMF in an update, as PG did with FH5.

I "watched" my friend's beta test gameplay and overall TCMF has a good feel to it. (I also won the beta test, but I couldn't play after the introduction cutscene on my PC😥 )
My only complaint is that the rims and body kit are still the same as TC2.

As for the body kits, the ones from models like the R34 and Mustang that have been used since TC1 are a bit inferior to the ones added from TC2. (especially the custom front and rear fenders)
And many of the rims are from TC1, and many of them look like cheap no-name brand rims and not very good looking.

As for body kits, the various special editions added for TC2 could be a good alternative, but these models do not allow to change even the rims, nor can they change the rim color or sub-colors freely.

The body kits of the models added since TC2 are sometimes "too much", but many of them have well-designed body kits as a result of partnerships with excellent designers like Khyzyl Saleem.
If such new body kits were available for older models like the R34, the experience of this game would be even better.
Also, better rims would make such body kits look better.
If modern trendy rims like Turbofan, or the eight spoke and TE37 style rim available as OEM rims for some JDM's could be available on all our cars, our cars would be cooler.

I doubt they will add new kits to existing cars, more likely they will just make a new pre tuned variant.

I do hope they will add more rims to it, bit odd to have the same set of rims since TC1 and some cars like the R35 weirdly still stuck to only official rims too:

Licensing is a beach. Same problem as with spoilers in Horizon - they aren't approved by manufacturer when original deal was done and relicensing only because of one tuning piece... Better license another car.

I know licensing is the problem for this, like the Ferrari in NFS 2015 are restricted to Ferrari designed parts only, even the rims are unchangeable but NFS did manage to get them to loosen the restriction to allowed aftermarket rims since Heat.

I still find it really odd that other Nissan in The Crew don't seem to have this problem except the R35, was expecting Motorfest will have relicense it to have the rims be changeable.

Looks like Ubi makeing really looong contracts. I have feeling, that SLR license wasn't prolonged since Driver SF(same with RUF).

I wonder how long we have to wait until they release the race creator for Motorfest too. Hopefully not just at the end when the next title is to be released.

I have a question about importing my garage. I did launch The Crew 2 how it is working on my PS5, and I still have my garage of cars, and game even suggest that It can be ported to Motorfest.

But is it taking your garage from saved game, or Ubisoft account? (I want to port it from TC2 on PS5 to TCMF on PS5)

It uses your Ubisoft Connect account. So you can transfer your collection from Xbox/PC to PS5, like I'm doing. Stadia isn't compatible, since it's dead.

Another thing I noticed is that liveries are now cross-platform, didn't get to use it since the ones I use weren't transferred. Guess the guy I get them from didn't get an invite.

It combines all you tC2 saves tied to UbiConnect account. It doesn't delete vehicles in tC2, just duplicate them into tCM.

May I ask a question as well?
For reasons stated in the past post, I myself was unable to play the Motorfest beta at all. And my friend was the one who did not make livery himself.

They seemed to say in previous streaming that livery and vinyl groups can be imported from TC2 to TCMF, has anyone confirmed in beta testing that vinyl groups are actually imported?

If it was indeed possible, I am going to start making some logos and such for TCMF now.

Also made a livery and didn't checked if there was an option under my liveries. I guess it will be there, if. However there was no such an option in the setting menu where you can find the import vehicle option.
I was sure I heard about liveries and vinyl groups, but can't find anything and I'm not so sure anymore.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but does anyone know if we will be able to share livery or apply designs made by other players?

It's made even more confusing when there's a special R35 in this current MotorPass with custom rims.

I forgot about that variant but the whole licensing for that car is odd, the Nismo variant is fully restricted for customisation as well and it seem to just the R35 in the Nissan collection does this.

Does anyone know if there are plans for offline / local multiplayer? I haven't played the previous crew games so not sure if they had this
The Crew have always been online only on Ubisoft servers. No plans for offline. But it never required Gold or Plus for XBox and PlayStation.
