Found this in youtube recommendation, the starter Mustang switch to the new version instead of the 2015 Mustang like in the beta.
One thing that was a little disappointing for me was that the Supra Ryujin Edition's livery cannot be edited.
I like this Supra rear end, but the default livery with the little dragon on the side looks like a poor NFSU copycat games from the 2000s.
yea, I was really annoyed by that during the beta. I end up buying a stock Supra to use, will probably do that for the full game too. Was playing TC2 recently and manage to buy the motor pass for the Chiron SS, was quite annoyed that the Chiron is stuck in white and the only changeable colour is the stripe colours.

It just occurred to me, what happens to performance parts during the first playthrough of a playlist?
Because, most of the time it's a loaner car, right?

I did the beta, but I didn't bother about performance parts then. So I just wondered about that.

There are no family HQs like in TC2, right? Is there still a mailbox for performance parts for all vehicle classes?

I remember the game just dump them into your inventory, you can equip it to your car own cars in the car selection menu in the pause menu.

Ah right, forgot how it works in Motorfest.
But I guess it makes sense to import your cars right away to have access to the inventory of each vehicle class. So that you can start scraping lower performance parts right away, even during your first playthrough of the playlists.
I supposed we don't have access to an inventory of a vehicle class if we don't have at least a single vehicle in that class, right?

Was going to buy this for ps5 today, but looks like fanatec dd pro is only compatible with pc version for some reason.

Notice other fanatec wheels are supported with ps5 version. Seems a bit odd...

Game is online. First Summit rewards

I have a question for all early access users.
Was there an import function for the livery/vinyl group you created? (or was livery/vinyl group imported when importing the garage?)

I won't be able to play Motorfest until the 14th, and having this feature is a matter of life and death for me.
In the worst case scenario, all my preparations over the past month or so will be in vain😰

There was a reply from the director on reddit during ”2 hours ago”.
Livery/vinyl gourp import is not possible. ...Why didn't you say it sooner?

There is one thing I dont fully get. The game lets you choose the character and after that it starts the Japanese Playlist with "Welcome to Japan" and talks about the beauty of this land... In a game centered around Hawaii

Well, I've spent probably hundreds of hours making liveries in TC2, but not having livery import is a total bust for me. If I will need to start from scratch, I will probably just wait for TDU Solar Crown to come out. I think that game matches my vibe a bit more

They're catering to the JDM crowd, especially now since they've got toyota back.

thats just one of the playlist you can start with, you can choose not to start with the Japanese playlist and choose the Hawaii tour. There is also the Porsche 911, American Muscle and Donut Media playlist.

I'm probably going to wait until later as I'm maxed out on new games right now with ACC, WRC and Starfield set to take up a lot of my time but the presentation looks very good so far.

Malu is a cooler host than Horizon's Hailey and Cara is chirpier than her rival AI Anna. The midair racing line looks a lot less obtrusive and the festival hubs and playlist markers seem to have a real Horizon 1 style vibe. I'm glad they have deformable scenery like that other racing game.

Understandable, but it is still a strange way to start the first drive by hyping up another location…
I think of it as the mooded events from TC2, where they add different props and camera effects to existing races

And I just destroyed a 750 part because I was sorting the lower street tier parts.
This system is ********!

BTW, where is the option to transfer all parts to another car? I can't find it.

I'm currently playing on PC waiting for the download to finish on my Series X. On the graphics side, I'm locked at 60 fps with initial pre-setting values all on high (1080p), but I'm currently experimenting with the sliders. Render scale: 1.00.

Don't know how competitive I'll be considering I need to farm the max Legendary parts for all the vehicles again, as well as getting the perks high enough.

So I bought this game to relive playing TDU on Oahu.

I absolutely cannot stand the over the top narration in this game. Also how this game seems to make it's primary mission to drown out the good engine noise with terrible music.

These settings did a lot to improve my experience.

Can anyone confirm if the Charger Widebody is exclusive to Year 1 Pass only and no other way to obtain it ?
they confirmed it weeks ago that the Charger Widebody and Chevelle is exclusive to Year 1 Pass, there is a infographic about it:

The Charger Widebody and Chevelle are the only car that is marked as exclusive.

Thanks. I wasn't really sure about it. I don't usually buy year passes but the 2 exclusives are two of my favourites.

This is tempting.
