Was going to buy this for ps5 today, but looks like fanatec dd pro is only compatible with pc version for some reason.

Notice other fanatec wheels are supported with ps5 version. Seems a bit odd...

I get it don't say dd pro but it does say DD in ps5. Which I believe is the same base except the PlayStation chip in the base?? I used my Gt DD pro in the beta and full game tonight. Works great game default settings. And the crew 2 settings from the fanatec forums for the wheel..

Is the Gran Turismo DD the same as the CSL DD?

Don't let the name fool you, though — the Pro is mechanically no different to the “regular” CSL DD, even though it's packaged in a slightly different shell. However, the Pro — a Gran Turismo-licensed product — can only be bought in tandem with a GT-branded rim and Fanatec's standard CSL pedals.

I have to give Ubisoft some props, they've managed to make their Donut Media tie-in even more cringe than both Dirt 5 and Forza Horizon 5 combined did, something I didn't think was humanely possible.

Thanks. I wasn't really sure about it. I don't usually buy year passes but the 2 exclusives are two of my favourites.

This is tempting.

I don't mind paying for it but only 2 exclusive cars is quite expensive for the Gold Edition, will play the trial first then pick up the Gold Edition when it is on sale.

Yeah, same for me. People are saying that the grind is harder in Motorfest so some of them just bought cars they want in TC2 and import it to TCM so I guess I'll just stick to TC2 for the time being.

Are these things ever a good investment? I gotta buy like 3 cars and do 9 events just to get 100k or potentially a car?

Sound pack is interesting thing and parts set is worth a ton.

Yeah, same for me. People are saying that the grind is harder in Motorfest so some of them just bought cars they want in TC2 and import it to TCM so I guess I'll just stick to TC2 for the time being.

I think it is similar grind to TC2 if you play it normally without the few specific high paying events but just less annoying because events are not restricted to specific cars and class once you finish the playlist.

Just noticed in the trophy list, for the legend level of XP, it says ''For the first time''.

Is there some xp reset at certain intervals?

This game is absolutely brilliant. Can't even log onto the effing server. It asked me to create a Ubisoft account which I did and it comes up with an error code and tells me to contact Ubisoft. Tried opening a case file, didn't work. Spent nearly a hundred quid on this piece of ****

I’m loving motorfest, lots of tdu 1 and 2 vibes and feel and I’m loving the Hawaii setting, having Cara help me out and etc. playlists are cool too, I’m on PS5 too. Was great we can import our crew 2 car list, I also need help I’ve spent way to much on crew credits for crew 2 and did buy some for motorfest. I just love cars then some you need for summit (in crew2) and I’m like oh I’ll buy some crew credits lol. I’m also still trying to get more followers in the crew 2 which the summit helps heaps.

So far the game is good, I am stuck trying to figure out why Difficulty 3/5 is so hard on Summit but 3/5 is perfect for the playlists and regular game.

I think maybe the Summit, I don't have upgrades to my car and that also factors it in? I can't win some races in this.... is anyone else noticing some issues?

Ahm, there is no difficulty in the summit, afaik.
You can adjust the helpers to your needs.
But you need good parts to get close to 100.000 for each test.

There were a couple of events where the AI was smoking me on 3/5 but I changed to 2/5 and I won by like 2-3 seconds... so I think the difficulty is actually applying here... I think this may be a glitch if it's not intended then.

I've noticed the same thing last night when I was playing the summit event with the Camaro SS. Took me some time but I managed to beat it after upgrading a bit of my car.

On PC the graphical performance is inconsistent at this time... There is a slider to lock fps at 30 or 60, but at 60 the framerate remains unlocked and goes as high as 100+ but can dip lower than 60, and changing settings from low to ultra settings doesn't really has much impact on this, only on the visual quality. So, fps drops are more noticeable than on my Series X (locked at 60 fps for all practical purposes on performance mode), but at least there is no screen tearing to report, and the gameplay is quite responsive.

The first playlist I did was the Liberty Walk one, and just with some hours played between yesterday and today I earned enough coin to purchase the summit event car bundle.

Yeah I think that was the event that was giving me a really tough time.

Does the season pass or whatever transfer over to other consoles if you bought it cross multiple consoles? or probably not? I thought this was cross-progression.

Here's hoping that I can hang to Platinum rank in this first summit event (8900 something with about an hour to go!), and that Ubisoft patches the PC version (for a consistent frame rate), because it is oddly compelling, and I like playing there.

juggling parts is already quite annoying. I don’t know why they’d get rid of the fast swap from TC2.

The summit is going to be pretty pointless to even try being top 10k crossplay across all platforms.

Honestly, I think it is easier. Now it is more skilled based, at least currently. In TC2 it was mainly grind based.
I just did my first platinum in TCM, ranked just above 2000. I actually thought I would end up way lower, since when I went to bed it was still going for six hours and I was around 1400.

In TC2 it was all down to having the perks points maxed out and having perfect gold sets.
Perk points are now limited to 15 per month or week?

And yes, juggling parts is annoying. Fast swap is missing. And when you scrap a part and try fast jumping to the next row, it goes back to the previous row.

Just more of a numbers thing. All platforms pooling into the same 10k is like 7k fewer spots than in TC2.

I got this Platinum in the mid 4k range and the audio vanity is pretty sick though.
