No you get those two cars for free, as well as the first 4 DLC packs for free (when they are released).
So they haven't been released yet then.
Thanks for your help, any idea when they are released ?

No problem. According to Ubisoft, the first DLC will be released sometime this month. So they haven't been released yet then.

Weird. The 67' GT500 circuit spec is definitely already in the game as an AI opponent. I ve driven one of the fraction missions against it.
So let me get this rite, we pay for a season ticket which gives us new DLC cars. And when they arrive as some have, we have to pay again either by credits won in the game ( extortionate amount) or buy credits online to purchase something we have already paid for ? Have you seen the ingame prices for LaFerrari, Mercedes, Pagoni, etc etc
Something very wrong here.
Season passes should provide all DLC content at no further charge for at least a year, though maybe there are some games that go further - but generally it seems to be an annual thing (thinking of the two Borderlands 2 season passes here.)The first four? So that means there will be more than four DLC planned for the future, right? In that case, isn't a season pass suppose to get you all DLC as they come out? This seams to be the case with DriveClub. You pay one price and get absolutely everything as they get released...

Well, maybe not in all cases and I can't talk about FH2 as I don't have the console - but in my experience, the usually has been on the positive side. Mostly 'older' games, I know but these have all done what I mentioned: Far Cry 3; Driveclub; Watch Dogs; Borderlands; Borderlands 2 (the latest BL remains to be seen I suppose, as that hasn't really started producing much DLC yet.)That would be ideal but it doesn't usually work out that way, just look at the Stormy Island content for Horizon 2, the Season pass doesn't include it and the DLC pack was released 3 months after the game.
The pre order cars are only good in the beginning of the game, they quickly outgrow their usefulness.

I'm sure there are more, but in my flu'ed out state right now, I can't think straight
That's why I am slightly p:censored:ed off that it didn't work totally useless now but imagine having that at the start of the game would have definitely helped.
Its shocking that they can do this. I've emailed sony/psn as its one major Ripoff
Apparently this is a known issue from release and looking on the Ubisoft website there are hundreds of guys and gals that have paid for season pass or pr-ordered the game and not received anything.
Im ringing psn tomorrow and going to demand a refund.
Cheers - definitely not going to work tonightHope you feel better soon, the flu is everywhere this year and it's been a rough one from what I've been told. It's a shame that the Season Pass standards seem to be changing from the last gen, at least from what I'm seeing on the Xbox One. I miss the days of having a full game at launch too...
It's not really PSN/Sony's fault. It really is just the fault of Ubisoft. And if you bought the season pass from the PS Store, I doubt they will give you a refund, but you never know.

http://www.twinfinite.net/2014/12/15/the-crew-shocking-microtransaction/Let’s take it out of the gaming world and out into reality here for a minute. Imagine for a moment you’re holding £175.95 in your hands. You could throw that money onto owning every single car in The Crew. Or, for £129.99, you could buy a day driving around Silverstone in a real Aston Martin V8 Vantage S. This even comes with a pair of tickets to one of the days in the British Formula One Grand Prix event. After all of that you’re still left with enough cash to get liberally plastered at the bar or get into a fairly nice hotel room.
That is actually laughable. At least with Codemasters they had the decency to lock out content before the DLC is released, even though it's already on the disc. *sigh* What has the gaming industry become...
The answer to that question would not be very family friendly.
In regards to the micro-transactions, it's sad so many studios/publishers are adding them into the games, Forza 4 annoyed me with them, Horizon and Horizon 2 as well. I've just learned to tune them out when the in-game prompts come. I don't see why anyone would pay for them in the Crew, it's so easy to make money in this game.
I understand not wanting to grind for money, but if someone is too lazy to use the Send Friends option on Faction missions, then that is really bad. I make anywhere from $60K to $100K a day without even trying that hard. I could easily make $420,000 a week without much effort. If I wanted to buy every car in the game, according to the article I would need $2,574,749, which would take about 6 weeks to earn that much without any grinding or very little grinding. If I wanted to grind faction missions, you can cut that time in half.
Even without using the Send Friends option, you can make money very quickly in this game with PvP races and grinding the shorter faction missions like Way Out West where you can make $8340 every 2 to 3 minutes, which is about 500K an hour.

Content is in the game, we just can't access it yet. I have just raced a Raid spec Ford Focus, even though I can't have one myself.

It doesn't seem too bad when you put it that way. But not everyone has friends that has the same game. And I've read PvP races takes a very long time to start for some people.
IMO any arcade game that requires grinding is an example of bad design. Sims I can understand, but not arcade racers. By the time you finished the story mode, you should have unlocked everything and used every car at least once. Criterion is the best example of this (Burnout Paradise, Hot Pursuit 2010, Most Wanted 2012). There's no credits system, new cars come thick & fast and when you finish you've experienced everything the game has to offer. Then you're free to tackle multiplayer and just have fun.
Looks like Ubi may pulled a really dumb move and removed Way Out West. Can anyone confirm this?
