The Crew: Wild Run Edition

Way out West is gone and so is the other escape mission, it wasn't in the patch notes either. If they are going to remove Faction missions they should at least replace them with new Faction Missions, I didn't buy this game for them to remove content.

On the positive side, the Mini Cooper was added to the New York Dealership and it has two more specs added, Dirt and Performance.
 
I noticed that and swiftly bought it :D. Not quite as fast as my Focus though. Now we need more Golf specs :P.
 
NOOOOOOO!!!! WOW is gone! I so need 800k for an SLS and Aventador. They coulda added new ones. I didn't pay £40 to gradually have content removed. I have my street R34 and dirt Focus, both at platinum, I just need RUF 3400K or BMW Z4 raid, Aventador perf and SLS GT3 circuit

Noticed there was no WOW after spending all my cash I had on an M5

Is that the same viper that is available for free using Uplay?
 
And to continue my rant before about the location of Niagara Falls/Western New York, they messed up the visuals of it even more. They put the most minimal effort into it. It doesn't even look like the Falls. It just looks like an elevation drop in the Niagara River with a bunch of rocks behind the actually waterfall.

And I also think they should have put the actual town of Niagara Falls(or just a few streets and houses, like they did with Salem/Cape Cod area) to make that region less boring. Because its pretty boring that all there is, is a few rivers, some roads, and the woods.
 
I haven't even gotten to trying the faction/pvp races yet :lol:. Too busy unlocking the entire map and getting every hidden car part and locations. Got all the data stations last night though :).

The only thing that I'm disappointed in is that we can't paint wheels so I can't recreate my avatar :(.

Also the fact that the FFs can spin their rear wheels while holding the throttle and brake together.. They still act like FFs if you turn in a circle on flat throttle though. Really weird...

Edit: There was a funny moment grinding for lvl 50 parts for the Mini on the broken bridge jump near Miami. There was 4 or 5 of us all doing it together. I can only assume their cars were low lvl since 2 were going together ahead of me and I caught them really quick and jamp over both of them in the air :lol:.

The camaro I started with is rubbish as a raid car so I might buy the 370Z as an alternative. Thanks for the tip.

Just finished the story missions. Doesn't seem much incentive to replay them although I did enjoy the run through. Except maybe the chases which I found tough to do.

Looking forward to exploring the map now and doing all those skills and landmarks and finding the rest of the hotrod. I also plan to do one faction mission a week of the longer ones if time allows.

I'm going to drive between every item rather than fast travel as that will be more fun I think and you get bucks as you drive along anyway.

I use a 370Z and it is brilliant, BTW I meant 140MPH. A good street is the R34. Hits 200MPH on plat parts. I havent got them yet but I'm aimig to get Aventador perf and SLS circuit. I have a Viper perf and circuit but that was to finish story. 370Z has not let me down yet at car level 1080 currently :)
 
I'm waiting for the Mini and Focus circuit specs :D. When is the update due?

I wanted that for LA but sadly I had to use 100 of my 110 UPlay points to get a Viper so that I could have circuit spec. I don't like circuit on the starter cars

I want the F150 raid. Its featured twice in the game and cant use it. I also want circuit R34, Circuit for all super cars and all other specs we need. I'd love a circuit spec M5 ;).

I've given up on the crew for now. The 2 best faction missions are gone and PVP is just non existent on PS4. No races going on at all. If your buying the crew (and I usually wouldn't say this), for your own good get it on PC.
 
This game doesnt make me want to play it. No circuit spec raptor (after it was prominently shown in a trailer) sucks too.

The fact it doesn't handle like driver sf was disappointing.

But worst of all it's just not fun.

I must agree. When I got the game and played the first day I had a decent time with it. Now though I log on and just have no desire to do anything and log back off. The handling on the game just isn't FUN to drive around with on a wheel. I thought this was going to be a game I would jump in and blast around the country for a few hours, but it aint happening like that.

Today, after spending many hours playing (and quitting the game on a regular basis for a break) a single person on my friends list seem to be glitch. The game kept telling me he was online in the game, even though he wasn't online on PSN. His icon would show up on the map exactly on the same location every time I logged in.
Eventually I got fed up and removed him from my friends list (sorry dude!). Got back into the game, and guess what? Not only I've got the challenges available, but my Golf GTI (the car I've been driving the most all day) is suddenly ha handling a bit different in the corners.

Also, earlier today it seemed that no a single player was in my session. This was rather unusual as I always get other people on my map all the time. However, after I removed that one friend my list I get people in my session every time.
 
I have still to see Challenges work on the PC version but none of my PC friends play it anyway.

:cheers: I have the exact same problem in that I have Challenges showing as offline and a friend showing up in the same place on the map every time I log on. I will try the same thing tonight, see if it fixes these issues for me too, and report back later if they are (or aren't) fixed.

Wonder if I might actually get my Limited Edition Mini that I paid for as well, or is that too much for ask for... ;)
