That's what I did was get platinum for the car if it's a good one.
Edit: Got another silver and I am good to go into the final summit. So I should be good once the time comes to go for platinum.
Just that I am now going through the awards to see how many I can do and go from there.

New Summit qualifier is up, I won a free Drag Spec kit from the last event and used it on a Ford Mustang '11. That new Drag Event is a tad frustrating, the road is not flat and it's hard not to catch some air and completely lose control. My first two runs were for the most part, flawless, then my 3rd run was a nightmare, I kept crashing and burning, over and over again to the point were I was ready to limp across the finish just to end the event. Thankfully (after 10 tries) I had a good run and finished at 48th place on the global leadboards. You definitely have to time your Nitrous Oxide just right or you will fly off the road and get destroyed.
The Drift event is tough too because of the road you are on, it's very narrow compared to the past drift events so very precise drifting is required to put up a semi-decent score, it's also much harder to chain drifts together due to the event location.
The Monster Truck Event was easily the most enjoyable, I had not tried that particular stunt arena yet (near New York), the Double Loop-T-Loo is fun. So far I have a Silver Medal not far off from a Gold.

Before they come out with that stuff they need to come out with a patch to fix some stuff then release that. But man I'm so glad that it's gonna be coming soon. This game really needed a photo mode.

<-- I don't know how many people would be doing that if they had to pay for a photo-mode. I think I've already lost count.Saving video clips onto your PS4 and editing them together in Sharefactory is okay for what it's worth...but a full-fledged in-game video editor would be neat.

I hate that when i try to search for a crew it takes all day to search for one and it been be saying like 400 People are doing the summit.

yea, the matchmaking on that is kinda well broken.
I managed to do both coast to coast and landmark tour and those I will never do again.
Also is Rep points monthly based or accumulative?

Not unless you do this:
- Get yourself the Maserati Gran Turismo S if you don't already own the Fullstock model.
- Buy the Perf and Circuit specs for that car, and upgrade them both to level 1299. I would ONLY do this when I know I can upgrade them to that level by purchasing 11 Lv.50 Platinum parts.
- I wouldn't recommend doing this until the next Summit Qualifier, but grind the Summit skill challenges with the Maserati; make sure to use both specs, and to keep going at it until the Smart Loot system starts to award you with bucks from doing this.
- From what I've experienced, you'll need to do 68 skills in total (34 per spec) at the very maximum. Assuming you get a Platinum medal every time, this should take no more than 90 minutes.
- Then, do the Faction Mission "Highway Child" using the Maserati; you should earn $352K in about an hour instead of $176K and a performance part.
- The reason you can do it so easily with this car is because Maserati gave orders to Ivory Tower, saying that (outside the Circuit Spec) their cars can't be modified like the other cars in the game can. That's why you can't buy anything for it, and that's how I understand it.
- You should be able to do this with the bikes as well.

Yea the sale is just the normal Crew.
Anyways I spent a lot of time trying to level up cars and the smart loot is kinda annoying. What could of took me like 15 minutes ended up taking an hour. With the Rims, Color, Bumper, Stickers and then same part different bonus stuff. Just got Raid and Street to upgrade to 1299 now.
Edit: Anyone know what the 25 named locations are in the South? I have 24 of 25 and I don't exactly know where that last one is. :/

@Ratrasta I had the same issue, although I did manage to find the Midwest and East last locations. Now it's just the south which I think it's some town that I have visited but have yet to get.
Mounatins I haven't even started looking yet.
Edit: So the summit is now broken again. Medals are wiped for everyone (Unintentional or not due to "cheaters") And also to add the summit reward is the Lotus again but unclear what happens if the people who have already won the car like myself if you get it again or a new car or just the credits for it.

Bought Wild Run without sale, as won't go on it.
Had 24h to do something in this qualifier and got a gold medal with 840th (roughly) final place. Considering that:
- I got no crew, so I couldn't run 3 crew challenges (open world + skills on top screen and race on the right);
- I had to play Drag and Monster challenges with rental car;
- Ford Focus and Raid challenges done with poor equipped cars;
- Didn't do any PvP race.
I think I handled pretty well. Also got a Platinum (305th place) in the Drift challenge, using a Subaru BRZ which later I got upgraded to 1250+.

Should only be 2 challenges that are crew. 1 is Required make.
Others are doable. FD Challenge and Crew time attack are required a crew of 4.
Then the one make which is hard to do if you don't have the car.
PVP isn't much since a lot of people afk in that but possible just to get into a better ranking or to secure a medal more.
Also the car is the Lotus Evora GTE again. Don't know if there will be anything different from the people who already won the car get it again or more money or something else?

@TJ13 The problem is that I am out of home for the Summit duration, have just 28th, 29th and maybe part of 30th to do something.

"I was driving today to upgrade the Drag spec on my RUF CTR-3, in the new Summit qualifier event, all day long.
After awhile I noticed that my times changed in both positive and negative ways after I changed parts with new ones. Mostly, I noticed that changing a lv41 platinum engine with brake bonus to a lv45 engine with grip bonus made me get +0.400 from the previous run.
I was like "what is happening?" and then being more cautious if this was going to happen again. And happened first in a improvement and then in a new worsening. When this happens, either way, there is a huge change in the gear ratio, meaning that (in best performance, comparison to worst performance) 3rd to 4th upshift is around 10 km/h higher and the car handles 560 km/h with a possible top speed (delaying Nitro) of 575 km/h versus a barely 540 km/h handle and a possible top speed of 563 km/h.
Wish to ask what is this bug and how can I work around? Or it is the car bugged and have to wait for a fix or swap to another in the meanwhile?"

With all acceleration bonuses PART (but not all) of the problem fixed, but still my 1299 best now is +0.100 than what I did with 1230. So there's still part of the bug alive. Also, this means that the better performance is not directly related to the fact RUF CTR-3 is better with acceleration parts over speed parts, but that in drag races the acceleration parts give less bug than speed parts.

I finally brought the Corvette 2014 C7

I don't even want to start doing the summit. Since the award is the Lotus which I have already 2100 miles on it since last month. Still no clue on what you would win if you already have the car.
If it's not a duplicate of the car can go for platinum.
