I've had several instances where I've had a dream within a dream. That was fun But of course I can't remember them.
My dreams are usually incredibly boring and mundane, and reflect my day to day life in the real world more than anything else. Occasionally I'll have a cool dream, such as a few nights ago when I had a dream involving my friends and I running from the police for some unknown reason, getting holed up in an abandoned antiques shop, somehow escaping and proceeding to destroy the Golden Gate Bridge (with nobody on it).
Just had a really stupid dream, I was at work with my dad and his Supra was on a lift and I dunno why all of the cars were dirty as his Supra is usually spotless and he told me to take out the "intestines" of the car. Being clueless I tell him I dunno how and he goes up to it with a stepladder and there is sausage I plastic hanging from the engine bay and he cuts then down and then I woke up because someone turned the vacuum on.
More stupid dreams! Last night I had a dream that I was waiting in the car at the grocery store and I saw a Porsche 928 next to a Nissan GTR with camo on it like a test car and I was along pictures and I woke up. More stupid, pointless car dreams.
Today I dreamed that I acquired a commercial passenger jet in GT5 which was under the Daihatsu manufacturer. Took it to GTAuto and painted MAH JET PLANE silver chrome. Wanted to buy more jet planes but couldn't find it in the new car dealers.
It take place in a Gotham City-like area. Big buildings and traffic. Spoiler alert for Batman: Arkham City on this first part:
So I'm sort of like playing as the Joker in first-person. (Apparently he somehow didn't die in B:AC) I start off at the square roof of some building. I think I remember seeing Dr. Strange's face on a big widescreen on the top of another building. (Weird because he dies in B:AC) I then hear a thud behind me, and I turn around and there's a slanted rooftop like ten feet below me, with a slatted roof and two chimneys, just like in Assassin's Creed: Revelations. I look down and the Joker's body is laying at the edge of the other roof, but it can't fall off because the building I'm standing on is directly beside it. I then jump down to it. I think something came out at me and scared me but I can't remember what. So yeah, two Jokers.
I then start playing through the dream as myself. My house was in the middle of this big city. I remember being able to see it all from a different perspective at the top of another building, and the house was beside a big, busy street with an overpass going perpendicular to the street about 100 feet from it.
I remember hearing something about some sort of people (I can't remember what they were called) that were going to come in 30 red cars and attack me and my family inside the house. I remember seeing those 30 red cars, traveling under the overpass. They looked just like this:
Nice choice, bad guys.
So me and my family are inside the house, preparing for the attack. I remember having a dagger sort-of thing, with the handle being longer than the blade, but I knew it wasn't long enough to fend off baddies with swords. I then go out to the garage, to get to the refrigerator, where the upgrade shop was located to buy a sword. (Just like in Assassin's Creed, only the blacksmith shop was a refrigerator, and there were no blacksmiths) I stepped out into the garage to buy my upgrade, but I could hear the baddies outside! Worried that they would blow through the garage, I remembered that I could pick up the swords of the people I'd killed and use them. (JUST LIKE IN ASSASSIN'S CREED!!!)
I go back into the house and the baddies blow through the door connecting the house to the garage. They are mucus-like blobs that stand about 3 feet tall. All they carry are blow-guns that can shoot very, very slow-moving .38 caliber bullets out of (I got hit by one and it didn't break skin) and blowdarts that would do more damage than the bullets.
We killed them all with no trouble at all. Afterward I still wanted to get an upgrade, so I went out to the fridge and I opened the "Upgrade Store" box, and a big hologram-like screen came up and I started to flip through the upgrades and I saw an assault rifle stability upgrade, sort of like the one in RAGE.
So yeah, a mix of GT5, Batman: Arkham City, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, RAGE, and a Mucinex commercial.
I'm having some crazy dreams these days. It seem every time I wake up I'm in one state of emotion or another depending on what I dreamt about.
I know it's my medication working effectively but it's really screwing with my mind to the point where I wish I was drunk and didn't have to remember my dreams.
has anyone seen those scenes in cartoons where the main character has a dream where he gets pantsed in public, and everyone around him points and laughs? Well, I had one of those .
I also had a nightmare where I was going to a Pink Floyd concert, only to find out that these guys showed up instead:
My dream: Mario Kart/ Burnout/ Split second/ apocalypse/ new inspiration for the first car I'll make if I start a manufacturer when I get older.
This is how it starts. 30 teams of two drive cars though a war-torn new york city on the highway that is part of the GW bridge. We finish two laps of the course and we get points. I remember Jackie Chan and some other person was at the lead. I was using a car similar to the SP1, but a little smaller. It was yellow and the front had no resemblance to Ferrari. It was a fun and scary dream.
I couldn't believe I couldn't find a thread on this, so anyway, what did you dream about last night?
I dreamt about being stuck on a dessert island with one of my friends and talking about how she's recently broken up with her boyfriend before suddenly switching to dreaming about playing V-Rally... Some what strange connection, but they're just dreams, they don't have much significance.
This dream follows the sort of theme which most of my dreams follow:
The sky was essentially 'flamed up' (very orange/black(twilight) colours); I was standing on some sort of metal structure looking through a window at an area in the distance where the sky was pitch black. Then I watched as circular machines (imagine a UFO-Type object on it's side) appear in the sky and start blasting lasers into the ground...

(New Dream)
This dream occured a couple of days after that^ one:
I was standing in a sort of rough wasteland type area where a NASA type org. were operating.
----
In that^ dream I could remember the first dream...............
Yep, that's how they go.....................
(those dreams are just a sprinkle; there's alot more like that)
------
It's now got to the point where in 95% of my dreams I know 'what I'm doing'. If I feel uncomfortable in my dream I 'pause' and change the scene....
For eg. Say I'm being threatened by something; I know this mentally and 'go' somewhere else/start afresh. If I'm falling I 'wait/pause' and go elsewhere.
I had a dream where I was chased by Slenderman, and I had complete control. Too bad I couldn't change Slendy to something hilarious, but it was fun running through an apocalyptic New York at night doing parkour and running from him. I woke up when he grabbed me and I saw a white circle, presumably his head.
Believe me, compared to sone of the dreams I've had, all other dreams are like Childs tv programmes.
The dreams I have most of the time, are properly insane....
Let me try and think of some more....

Here's a good one:
(Dream #3) Everywhere I 'went to' there was flaming pillars, hurricanes & lightning...it always seemed to be quite far away from me though...Quite helpful actually, considering that this dream came before my 'teleportation' .
Earlier this year in I had the trippiest dream ever. It was pretty abstract to begin with and there were a lot of people around, it was sort of sepia tone but it was all cartoon like. Then all of a sudden I realized I was in some 60s Sci-Fi space ship thing and everyone had space helmet-visor things and we started floating around in this glass ball-gallery-hall-lounge sort of thing. Then the stars and backdrop became this incredibly vivid flowing rainbow and there was music and all in all it was like some acid trip. I've never done any drugs in my life but this was probably the equivilant. Lately I've been having really artistic dreams and I've even been creating music in my dreams. Sad thing is the second I wake up nearly everything is forgotten. The only reason I remember the space acid-trip dream is because it was the most extreme.
I dreamed I was Aquaman and along with Superman, we protected the city from evil. We were a great team but lately, Superman has been feeling depressed. One day, a fire broke out and threatened to ravage the city. Superman told me he was going to retire after this final job, but I said we were a team and I could not safe the city all by myself. After that he changed his mind and decided to continue on protecting the city. His depression also seemed to have disappear.
