Go to your closest mountain and drive away from it, and watch as it dips behind the horizon.
Better yet, have someone else drive away from it while you watch through the rear window. Just saying...

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that earth is more of a perfect sphere than a billiard ball, so it makes little difference. I would not have called a billiard ball pear shaped though.
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere about a guy who, in a moment of poor judgement while attempting to take his own life, accidently shot Death who'd just appeared to deliver him from his physical body to the next realm, and having shot and killed Death, was forced to take his place. Just saying...

The pear shape attributed to Earth is an exaggeration used to demonstrate the points I noted.

I posted a video where you can see the ball. The guy walks down a hill and sees the curvature of the ball.

That video seems to support the globe, other videos seem to support a flat plane. So we are just going around in circles, pun intended.

Pretty sure he was high on LSD

Nooooot quite. One video supports a globe, the other relies on information that is not actually included in the video (distance to the subject) and isn't otherwise apparent from the video. So one of those videos is a self-contained demonstration of something that cannot be readily explained by flat earth theory, and the other is incomplete.

All I've gotten out of this thread so far is a multiple reasons why the earth is indeed round, and that flat-earthers (and probably many people who aren't involved in certain fields) seem to be terrible at estimating distances.

Maybe if you've been bouncing your billiard ball on concrete.

You can do this maths yourself, you don't need to rely on vague claims, but in short, any difference in height between two points on the Earth greater than 9,600m would be out of tolerance on a Billiard ball. Top of Everest to Bottom of Marinas trench is 19,842m

Don't overestimate my Math skills lol ;)

Lol, my bad. Maybe quarter ass is better then

There are about a billion more pages that provide you with ACTUAL evidence, tests and everything in between, including the simplest of tests to prove that the Earth is a ball.

You are, just like your FE friends, so incredibly stubborn*, that you're ignoring all that information, just for the sake of being stubborn*.

*not the words I want to use but I agreed to the AUP.
