You can see all the pics of Steve Sandlin's 57 Chevy called the Inciner8or HERE
But here is the outside...
incin5.jpg

i'm startin to wonder if this car can move under it's own power at all
Here are the buildup pics of the car.. Buildup pics
This car is fully functional and drivable.
Here is a video of the car runnning with just a little boost. Video of this car running
where on earth are all the pipes goin?
Exhaust runs under from the front then exits out the back of the bumper just under the tail lights.

Hope those links and pics answer your questions. I posted vids, pics, links and as much as I could answer.

well i must say that's a very pretty 57 chevy on the outside.. i think it would be even more gorgeuos in a Black with beige combo...

as for the engine..

well it does appear to be working... but Drifster said it best:
ottman...I am going out on a limb with this one, but i'm pretty sure this is one of those "I did it to say I did it cars"

it's deffinately a "i did it cuz i can"

the design of the headers is completely retarded in my opinion... all 8 turbo's are fed by 2 big pipes... which means the turbo closest to the manifold will spool more then the ones on the far end... :/

but hey it has 8 turbos and it runs... no one said anything about it making alot of power :P (yes 730hp is respectable but considering u're doin with 8 turbos means it's pretty damn inneffecient way )

That car would easily make over 1,000 hp. I have seen a quad turbo make over 2,200 HP on the cover of a Popular HOt Rod Magazine. I could scan the issue if you wanted it? Or at least scan the cover of the mag.

Yup you are absolutely right. I sure wish I had that much money to just spend like that!! I definetly wouldnt spend it on 8 turbos but its still a sick and amazing idea and you have to give him props for the idea and actually creating it. :)

RB26DETT and 2JZGTE can both make 1200+ HP using only 1 turbo.. 2 less cylinders and Half the displacement... :P

Anyone want to talk engine swaps? I made this all about the engines, including mad engine swaps. By the way, hello to McLaren'sAngel and your new kitty cat.

To go off-topic, congratulations on your first win, Peugeot. More specific, the first win for the Peugeot 307. All courtesy of Marcus Gronholm's super-focused facial expressions and the "I just PWN3D yo' asses" style of racing.

i have engine swap too..

but me and dorifto's Swaps are easy a no brainer...

some crazy swaps i've seen are S2000 engine in a Hachi Roku

4 rotor twin turbo mazda engine in a Bmw M3

"Top secret" supra... has the RB2dett engine from the skyline in it...

oh i've seen a 2nd gen CRX with a HUGE V8 in it... crazy drag car

The F20 swap isn't that uncommon now, there are 3 AE86 Coupe's in Tucson with that done....I like the 20B AE86 with 600whp....That would be sick...
Or the 3UZ-FE supra's in JGTC considering the 2jz-gte isn't a road race engine at ALL

Power to Nissan Design over Toyo

Kawasaki's ZXR250 4 cyc engine can rev up to 19K stock :) Damn!

But 16K on a 600cc is pretty good.
19k jesus! But again, it's a 250... genrerally, bigger motors don't like to rev high, compare say a diesel engine powering a train, about 1500 rpm or so. Meanwhile, a gas-powered R/C will hit 50,000...

An older, non-imported Skyline is always a nice piece, especially the R32 👍

OK, since this is somewhat on the subject of threes and twos, what do these two cars share in common, or at least are portrayed to share in common? (think hard, it's not mechanical)

Actually all Skylines are imported if you live outside Japan. Since I live in New Zealand they are imported here, just there are quite a few here though not many GTR's compared to the rest.

Cheers she's a bit ditry and needs a really good detailing which will happen soon.

woah... i always figured the hardest part was finding a F20 cuz there aren't that many Totalled S2k's at the junkyard to find a "donor heart" hehe

ya i've that F20B video.. that car is INSANE... i'm amazed it can even go in a straight line with that much power... :embarrassed:

even the 5valve verion of the 4A is a great engine...
and the 3S-GTE from teh celica/Mr2 260ps stock!

you have displayed a lack of intelligence here that is, quite frankly, disturbing.
im biased against big, heavy ohv engines but your facts are just crap. the LS engines will spin close to 8 grand if carefully built. more if expensivly built. 7000 stock.

anyway to dismiss the fuel economy listed.
3245; curb weight of 2003 corvette hardtop (Z06)
3188; curb weight of nissan 2003 350Z.

very small difference in weight (3188/ 3245=0.98%)
vs difference in engine size (liters)( 3.5/ 5.7= 0.61%)

explains the fuel economy.
but other factors come into play. like gearing (winner= corvette with that overdrive sixth,) aero (winner = corvette again,) weight (nissan, just barely), tire size, drag, height, width etc.

as for the ohv engine that makes 500 horsepower comparable to the , its 8.3 liters vs 5 liters.

anyway. back to engines. i like the mercedes OM 604. a 3 liter, twin cam, 4 valves per cylinder, turbocharged and intercooled. DIESEL. better fuel economy than anything mentioned so far, and one of the best torque ratings too. no redline on tachometer. but not really any fun over 5000.

Clean versions? How did the "Nasty Nissan" thing come about? I know it was coined by some tuners, but... I guess I was just joking about that "clean version" of that Nissan.

To continue my engine talk, this one is dedicated to Honda fans. The S2000 will probably be the hottest, commercially-available machine if the NSX dies out in the next few years (a third-gen NSX is likely for around the time the next Skyline comes out, which is perhaps 2006 or 2007). So answer me this, for those who may have been in one. The first S2000 had 2.0 liters at 240hp, while the second-generation features a 2.2 liter motor at the same 240hp. Which S2000 sports the better engine? The older model, or the newer model?
