I suppose it wouldn't have been a bad idea to use the Jaguar 4.0L either...

It's too bad they won't be reviving the LS (Damn you Zephyr, MKZ, whatever the hell they are calling you!!!), as they have a lot better stuff they could be using on the new model.

But, maybe we could all be pleasantly surprised in December/January with the new Ford RWD program we keep hearing about...

The LS and CTS are the only true competitor to the 3. And now with LS's demise it's only CTS left....why, why did they need to kill the LS? GM and Dodge are going RWD, and Lincoln replaces LS with a FWD Zephyr.

Btw the Jaguar engine was 4.2L.

There might still be hope.

Maybe Ford will finally bring up some of the AU models, a Ford Falcon would be great in America, and last I checked, they handled great for big cars.

Meh, I can't remember everything!

Atleast I can get the American sizes right...

The original AMJV8 engine was a 4.0 liter (technically a 3.9) and was the same one that was used in the Lincoln LS (in the LS it was detuned at first). In 2002 the engine was stroked out to 4.2 liters in all Jaguars (the Lincoln continued to use the 3.9), and subsequently Lincoln finally raised the power output of the 3.9 to Jaguar (A.K.A. 280 BHP from 240) levels. YSSMAN was right.

Thank you, I thought I was somewhat right, but I just couldn't remember...
