The five cars that you DO NOT want in GT6.

Honda N360, Fiat 500L, Mazda Carol, Subaru 360, any Daihatsu..... you want these or use that space for better cars???

EDIT: Bus can stay, Beetle can stay plus a fair few more. Never said all, just majority

There is a large following behind many 60's, 70's, and 80's cars. Your original post wasn't very specific and pretty much said anything before 1980 was unimportant. As for the above cars, I won't mind if they're in the game. While it's possible that omitting them could allow other cars, it's not as simple as just trading one car slot for another.

X2010 & X2011 (The Real Driving Simulator?)
Yes very much so. What is the contradiction between the X1's and GT's slogan? The X1's are based on real technology. They're perfectly realistic.
Tank Car (Useless)
What exactly makes a car useful?
Kubelwagen & Schwimmwagen (Waste of premiums)
They're just another pair of vehicles IMO.

Flaco13
- It's 2WD while the other is 4WD, should stay.
Sirion in Japan/Storia in EU/USA, having one would do............
...............
- Hyundai Clix
- Hyundai HCD

Don't be so pedantic, one or two of each is enough no matter what side the wheel is on, which way the headlights slant, the tiniest difference (all rx7, skyline, miatas etc) just have main differences ie rx7 RS-R (track made) spirit r (last and best) rx7 rz (mid trim). Don't want three of the same car just cuz a 6hp difference or the (j) on the name.... Pointless. It's a game not an archive...... Or maybe that's what they went for

Following... Not huge especially online, rarely see one at all, and there lv 0 for a reason. I like classics, one of my favs is e-type but little underpowered ugly cars in a racing game.... Sorry driving simulator. Ok it may be my N4S side coming o et but I play Shifts because of the 50+ cars, every single one I want and drive

Tank car is a piece for jay Leno's garage and shows, not a useable car generally (his words)

Says the guy whose Avatar photo is an RX-7. My friend owns a (J) spec RX-7 in real life. Are you going to deny me the pleasure of making a duplicate/replica of my friend's personal Time Attack car?

Toronado's list is better on the previous page as he put more time into but just to cover a couple of things:

- The Lexus and Toyota have two identical models except they're Vertex. Either keep both the Vertex or both the standard, we don't need both. The only difference as far as I can see is the interior trim being better on the Vertex.

- The RX-7 are dupes, the only difference is the efini name. So again, keep one set or the other, not both.

- The Primera yes there are two

S Nissan PRIMERA 20V ’01
S Nissan PRIMERA 20V (EU) ’01

- As for the Legacys

S Subaru LEGACY B4 2.0GT ’03
S Subaru LEGACY B4 2.0GT spec.B ’03

S Subaru LEGACY Touring Wagon 2.0GT ’03
S Subaru LEGACY Touring Wagon 2.0GT spec.B ’03

Again we don't need both, just keep the originals or the spec B versions. Nobody is going to cry about missing one set.

- As for the VX220:

S Vauxhall VX220 ’00
S Vauxhall VX220 Turbo ’00

Slap a turbo on the original version, hey presto. If GT included all of the turbo and non-turbo versions of cars we'd have 3000 cars or more.
? I didn't compare the vx220 with the vx220 Turbo, but the vx220 Turbo with the Speedster Turbo

But would you be utterly devasted if you only had access to the EU version, or would someone really lose sleep the other way around, they only had the J version?

Love the Veyron and the X2010s and X2011 and also all the skylines.

I love how people are joing :gtplanet: just to say they don't want the Red Bull X cars in GT6. The intelligence is strong with such members 👍

Welcome to :gtpflag:

I don't know, S isn't really that close to V. At leavt on my computer.

Nope but all are (j) spec any way, only major difference in rexs is 2+2 seating or 2 plus storage and FD 91 252hp, facelift 96 261hp, 99 276hp. I got rx8 Pz tuned which isnt in the game. Do want rx7 tho, but I'll live with it. One rx7 car in the game and you would be far off any version is what I ment

I don't understand how this is relevant. I'm sorry. I won't do anything, but ask "What?"

But would you be utterly devasted if you only had access to the EU version, or would someone really lose sleep the other way around, they only had the J version?

Yes. I am extremely impulsive and would lose sleep...

Not really... However, yes, I'd be thorougly irritated, considering we want MORE cars and MORE tracks in GT6. Taking stuff OUT is not a start.

We want all of GT5, but, with all of the tracks from GT1-GT4, and maybe some new cars/tracks to the series. Taking cars and tracks out, IMO, is the wrong direction for a better, more complete GT6.

that is like , just what I was sayying on the Storia... Having only one would do.
About the Headlights, American versions differ so much, visually, from european ones, that, to me, it's ok to have those options. Weather they are in the game as 2 different cars or getting to choose when you buy them, like SimonK suggested before.

He said "Love the veyron". Either it's a typo or he meant he loves the Veyron. I was pointing out the the former is not very likely.

Well yeh but still, (don't hate me but) Forza just do the one, you wouldn't notice most anyway (full beam/side beam looks the same in game). Left or right hand drive doesn't bother me as my wheel is always right hand drive, most American cars are left hand only (why there not top) but I don't care. Just stick to that countries drive. Japan right, france left, Britain right, America wrong... I mean left, drive and engine size differences maybe but under circumstances

Quoted for truth.

For a representation of the history of a specific car model it's enough having a representation of the most basic and the most exceptional car in each generation of the model. Things like the MNP II and MNP III Skylines which could be deleted and be left as paint chips, or the Miatas which only differences are the interior (basically, none given that the cars are standard). Trim levels and region-specific versions are irrelevant when they don't represent a serious difference in styling/performance.

Seriously PD, keep the clutter to a minimum. Chillions and chillions of versions of the Skyline, the Miata, and the FTO, are completely unneeded and only appreciated by two or three japanophilics. The rest of the world couldn't care less for them and would like a shiny, fire-spitting race car instead.

- There are Performance differences beetween Type R's, RS's and RZ's!
That's not why they are duplicates.

The VX220 has different transmission and spring rates to the Opel Speedster Turbo, btw all the Vauxhall Road Cars differ in performance to their Opel equivalents.
I'm looking at two bone stock cars right now. One is a VX220 Turbo, the other is a Speedster Turbo. There is no difference in suspension, power, weight, weight distribution or gearing between the two. If there is supposed to be different performance, it's not there. Which isn't surprising, because PD didn't get any of those (VX220/Speedster) correct anyway, so it wouldn't make sense that they would get the base specs wrong but actually model the differences if they are there.

I also took the liberty of checking the Opel/Vauxhall Tigra, and they are both identical in the game as well. If they do in fact drive differently from each other in real life, PD took no measure to actually implement such. And the only reason those cars should be in the next game is if PD does put that effort into them.

A better GT6 wouldn't have 130+ cars only added to the roster for padding like GT5 and GTPSP did.

I am a Japanophilic, then.

I'm a proud Mitsubishi fan, and am using Mitsubishis in a rally series here on GTPlanet.

If you guys want the "ridiculous" cars, like the "Citroën GT," then you can have them, but, there's no reason why one should remove the FTOs, Miatas, and all Skylines. I appreciate those cars. I'm actually considering e-mailing Polyphony Digital, inspiring them to give us like 5/6 options per car, in terms of interior colours, trim levels, engines, transmissions (when you buy the car) etc., and still having all of the GT5 cars in, but still taking up less space.

Can't we just all band together and do that?

Let's make the Dealerships into REAL dealerships, where you can buy your exact dream car.

Since you are bringing in Froza, there are a couple of examples I can give you on how it matters.
First I'm an Opel man and I would want the models they have as LHD and Opel badged, except for the Monaro, unfortunately but for obvious reason (The don't exist as Opel). And further if I want a car like a Golf GTi I do certainly not want it with those ugly American Sidelights but as the cleaner looking euro version. So in this game, the lack of different regional versions, to me is worse than the dupes in GT5. But its just my 2 centavos.

The opportunity was calling out to me.

On-topic; I'm fine with the duplicates except the NASCAR cars, where the only difference are the liveries?

There are 4 per manufacturer, per year. :yuck: Again, if we made it like a real life dealership, we could choose which livery we want on it, and maybe even add the NASCARs without a livery, and just painted a single colour.

Polyphony Digital, if you read this, give us the choice of trim levels/steering wheel side in the Dealerships! Give us our choice in Engines and transmissions IN THE DEALERSHIPS! PLEASE!

Unless Sony create bluray 2.0 with more space, interior trim..... Really. Wasted data space, I'm all for anything and everything but its not a promo disc for manufacturers. It's a game to be played. Votes of the many out way the Votes of the few, and few doesn't create profit. People clearly vote on new tracks, races cars, road cars and missing classics then something must budge ie the unwanted dups.
And as I said before my Rx8 PZ isn't in this game but should in stead of rx8 s, e etc. should just be mk1 rx8, my pz due to the factory upgrades and r3 (better aerodynamics) that's the type of differences we need!!! Not a different colour interior stitching lol

then i'm sorry for making a mistake, but if you will, check the transmission on the Vectras, and if tell me they are equal then i'm sorry but you must be blind :). There is a noticeable difference in perfomance on the tigras in the game though, i'm sure 100%

I did say stick to the manufacturers location so gti mk1 would be euro version, Opel (euro way) Holden (Aussie way) included plus Vauxhall (uk/euro way) as they do do different models in each badge like ute/maloo or vxr8 etc

But, that stuff's already modeled in, on several cars. There's no reason why I can't try to order my Lexus SC300/SC400 with LHD, when I see the RHD Toyota Soarer. :ouch: They're entirely different cars. The American car has different lights, different powerplant choices, different transmissions and the steering wheel's on the other side. My point is, if we already have some of those things modeled in, why can't we choose for ourselves, which ones we want?

Good for you in being a japanese car buff, nothing to be ashamed off and I don't mean it as something offensive. But the thing is, you have to admit it's a NICHE. And the reason why it's a niche is because very few people actually have any interest in having that absurd amount of Japanese cars. If GT becomes a niche game, it'll be over because it's sales don't come from the niche market but of a more massive audience that doesn't give a damn about the trim differences between one and another Miata. I'm okay with PD having weird japanese cars, K-cars and the lot, even though I'm not a fan of them, but is each and every iteration of them really necessary?

Also, dont put words in my mouth because I never said that the FTOs, the Miatas and all Skylines should be removed. I said the excess of FTOs, Miatas, and Skylines, those that are insignificantly different one from another should be removed, because they're plain clutter. Just irrelevant at all.

This is stretching the car list in a pathetic way. They sell you 1000 cars, but you actually get twenty something Skylines that are the same model with milimetric differences that one can barely spot graphically, and nobody can spot when it comes to driving. I mean, is it any different driving a GTR R34 V-Spec than driving a GTR R34 M.N.P II? Just open your Apex book and see the copius amounts of pages dedicated in the car guide dedicated essentially to one model.
