The five cars that you DO NOT want in GT6.

Completion doesn't go backwards. And every car is every car, not had everycar

So, get every car, sell them, and then brag that you had them all, and got irritated by your large garage. No one will make fun of you... Nope... :sly: It sorta shows that you're willing to 100% a game, even though you don't really want to.

There's this thing called "sort" which helps you look through your 1000 cars. I started to use sort once I hit 200 cars.

Then, there's this thing called "favourites" which helps you keep track of all of your drift car(s), tournament cars, and the cars you like.

But wen you see s2000 every 10 years then (j) 10 years then type v 10 years then type v (j) again every 10 years is what I'm saying. Pointless. Sort doesn't really do much (needs more options), and I use loads of cars so favourite wouldn't cut it (well hasn't)

100/1000=10% of cars...

So, you're going to complain about the cars you own yet refuse to sell them?

Doesn't matter if I do or don't. There there anyway, if I didn't then I would argue the case more. If there was a genuine 1000 cars then I would be playing constantly driving cars of the world but since it really about 800 and 200 I don't feel necessary, pretty much finished then

And it's not refusing to sell its yet silly now I work hard to get the car I've had for ages but has a (J) on the name or it's a '96 not '95. Even tho it's the SAME

I'm sorry. Your story changes a lot. So, you're not happy with the 1000+ cars that you're collecting?

How does it change.... Complete garage or not. Dups are pointless, I would of enjoyed filling 1000 DIFFERENT cars. Opel corsa or Vauxhall corsa I'm border line on as it is a different badge but it is the same badge, same model, same engine that I hate. Plus standard db9 and prem one too. There just filling 1000 spots really

Plus resell value sucks so would loose 2/3 of Cr spent

Standards/premiums is a different year, every time.

But the same car, just pick from gt4 and put of gt5. Only one is needed unless dramatic change, could of been a DBS there instead

Again SLR double, which could of been SLR 722

Naaah. Depsite there being a DB9 '03 and DB9 '06, I kept both. :sly: Same with BMW.

No not another, but a DB9 is a DB9 no matter what year. I could mould my argument to getting rid of the 'year tag but it's a GT thing so no to that

In GT5 the reason why I kept the DB9 '03 was because it was standard. Since hopefully when GT6 comes with all cars premium, there won't need to have the DB9 '03 but the DB9 '06 by itself.

That's y all this started, GT6. If they do all go prem, only select the few important one not the lot. If they stay standard but don't take up the game then leave them as an option which some of us can ignore. No standards will be best but don't make everything prem, just the select few.

Why do you assume there will be standards? And why would you make a car standard if it's modeled for premium, already?

Different year models of the same car are an appeal to the collector who wants his own car in every trim and every year model he can get. And there are changes from year to year (weight, suspension tuning, engine tuning) that are sometimes reflected accurately in the game... sometimes not.

Five cars that I don't want in GT6?

Porsche 911 (any year)
Lamborghini Countach/Diablo/Murcielago
Ford Mustang
Chevrolet Camaro
Anything by Ferrari

:dopey:  :D

Because it's silly not to want more stuff.

Not to question you, but, why even include your 5?

Why make an otherwise agreeable post, somewhat debatable? My best friend likes the Countach...

Otherwise, I agree, they shouldn't take any cars out.

The simple points:

1. All of the cars at some point need to be all premium. We can't have PS2 cars in 2020.
2. For the standard cars to be made premium PD have to start from scratch. The PS2 models can't be 'upgraded' because of how they were originally made.

So given PDs limited resources I would rather that FIRST they concentrate on modelling 100%, new and unique cars or making premium versions of the unique standards. Only once they have a good number of those would I mind them going back to modelling some of the standard duplicates or near duplicates.

Now you might say that because the duplicates are all very similar once they've modelled one premium version it wouldn't take as long to tweak that into a dupe as it would to create a new model from scratch. That's true but it would still take time and you know what PD are like, they'd spend hours modelling the slightly different interior to perfection and tweaking all of the slight physical differences.

I would much rather they focus on unique cars first, even if it means less cars. I would rather have 450 unique premium cars than 350 unique premium cars and another 250 not so unique premium cars for a bigger overall total.

Only the Red Bull X1/2010/2011/20XX type things, would make online racing a friendlier place more about actual racing and less about 300mph ramfests.

i don't want any standards.

I don't want the undeservedly overhyped and overrated veyron; the ultimate troll car, appealing to folks that know nothing about motorsports.

I don't want there to be more japanese cars than any other territory.

I don't want thirty variants of the same car.

I don't want duplicates appearing under a different badge.

IceMan PJN for president!

To those of you who complain about "ramfests". Why don't you make it so X1s can't be used?

A simple solution: BAN X1s IN ONLINE ROOMS! MAKE RESTRICTIONS WHERE X1s CAN'T ENTER!

Hey, we're making a thread of cars we don't like driving and which can outrace cars we do like to drive... Right? :D

The list was in jest... I actually do enjoy driving the Countach in GT5.

Oh yeah!

I hate Corvettes and Ford GTs. I was beat by some of those in our very own ALMS Season IV, on GTPlanet. :sly:

The '03 is LHD and the '06 is RHD, that's no duplicate.

'03 from GT4, '06 from GT5. Gt6 should just be GT6 (with GT5 prems). plus '03 is blacked out so it doesn't matter what side you drive, interior isn't there.

The interior is there, in basic form, our drivers have sat there since GT5 release. It makes the difference between a UK model and a non-UK model.
