The five cars that you DO NOT want in GT6.

Drop none !!
Space isn´t a reason so keep them.
Get more licenses instead and add more Cars. You don´t like one Car ??
=> Don´t drive it//buy it etc. and stop complaining.

GT5 is a Encyclopedia of Cars => every Car has their purpose in GT5 and shouldn´t be droped because KID Xyz says that it´s a waste or stupid.

Schwimm- and Kübelwagen are great Cars (for their Time) so is the Veyron.

Only Cars I don´t care about are the RB´s but it´s maybe my age and my lack of reaction that I can´t handle them (F1´s and FGT are on the edge for me).

Maybe its not removing, more filing as UCD is a pain in the ass finding the right car or waiting for the one you want. Its the many dups that p!ss me off seeing the same car over and over again, yet i still aint seen an S7, veyron, Cien, or a few racers (i got them from OCD). Maybe they should improve the UCD (or remove in favour of an Autotrader of sorts) so any car is available at anytime and use the UCD as a cheap auction location were people (AI) just want to unload unused, useless cars. But also more new cars and a Bigger NCD with a 2nd hand section with slightly older models with a few miles on the clock.

Nissan Leaf, Prius TC (They could give us premium Koenigseggs, Supras or Porsches, but no, they gave us a Prius.) X2s and the tank car.

but I feel this is somewhat off the OP! Lol.

Just to continue with my somewhat off-topic discussion:

Today, I took part in the Twin Lakes Motor Club autocross in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. (Yes, I have photos, and yes I plan on uploading them.) I was in a Hyundai Accent. My friend showed up in an RX-7 (he's thinking about tuning it to drift. His time-attack/autocross Skyline isn't running right now.)

Anyways, because he had horrible tires on his RX-7, and we were on a tight track, my Hyundai Accent (stock, in H-stock class, under SCCA specifications) actually was faster than his RX-7.

Therefore, I continue: it's not always the car you drive. Stop complaining about some cars, people. I love my little Accent. I got second place in "Stock" class, in my Accent, on all-season tires.

Just because you don't like, for example, the Accent, doesn't mean that it shouldn't be in the game.

Other than companies using it ie Japfest [2] (Car show), Japspeed (drift team), Japimports (big british importer), its only a racial slur if directed at someone, but Japanese is as much a term as Brit

No, not at all. "Japanese" has very, very different connotations to it than "Brit". To begin with, "Brit" doesn't even refer to a race, it refers to a nation: Great Britain. "Japanese," on the other-hand, has always been a term of racial denigration, and the potential for offense will always be there when it is used by someone other than a Japanese person.

(Would you consider it OK to use the "n word" because you read it in a Mark Twain book?) No matter what the name of local or even Japanese companies, referring to a Japanese item as a "Japanese item" still has the potential to cause offense. This is, at least, the way the issue is described to me by my Japanese relatives.

Actually, we don't know if they could give us any of those, so it's silly to assume so.

👍

This is the reasoning we subscribe to here, and that's why the term is considered unacceptable at GTP. Please, to all who are considering using it: don't.

And considering the Prius TC and Nissan Leaf are... ah... already finished as of right now to Premium level, not putting them in GT6 would do nothing at all towards getting us other cars.

Besides, asides from the one-gear transmissions, what's really wrong with them? They'd make great cars for racing series (stock, no upgrades, no tuning.)

Slow and quiet race series none the less, wouldn't here then coming lol

You know, I don't tink these all have to be carryovers from gt5, so:

Smart Car (any of them)
Juke (I call it the puke)
Chevrolet Spark
Prius Variants (all of them)
Hyundai Sonata (:ill:)

Nobody has suggested they remove the Accent or any other completely unique car. The problem that we've been going on about over and over are the cars that are 100% or more than 95% identical to each other.

I'd still resent it.

Does sound matter?? :sly:

Well i'm not going to pick the discussion up again because clearly we're just going in round in circles, I just wanted to point out that personally it was only the dupes and X1 i'd remove, not unique cars.

Was a joke on how, hybrids and electrics don't make any sound. F1/Race car sounds are great (in real life) but just saying.

Nah, not really. In fact I suggest that instead of car noises, we implement Scandinavian Death Metal to all cars exhaust sounds.

Outstanding, and bird chirps when we press the horn.

On personal opinion alone:
Toyota Prius - Hate the thing more than Tuition Fees in the UK.
Ferrari F10 - Keep reading.
Ferrari F2007 - As above.
Red Bull X2010 - You got that right.
Red Bull X2011 - Read the part below...

I wouldn't imparticularly like the Ferraris to be only raced amongst themselves. Personally, I wouldn't like them to be in the game. That is of course, unless they can be raced with other cars or other F1 Cars (Though the thought of that is pretty much ridiculous as the chances of PD getting the rights to F1 are about the same as the PS4 coming out this year.)

The Red Bulls are the complete opposite. I would only like them in the game if they were restricted to race themselves only. I actually quite like the car, but using it online with others in normal cars... No thanks.

There is the FGT to pit F1 vs not. The Ferrari license issue is likely to stay.

As for the X1, the problem that you refer to doesn't exist. Not only is it no different mixing X1's with road cars online than it is mixing F1's and road cars, but there are ways to keep the car out of lobbies.

Restricting what cars can run with what, for everyone, on personal preference is just a bad idea. Ideally, no car should be "race with itself only". Not in a game designed to be fun.

Pretty much. Particularly entertaining because every time a 2J complaint thread starts, people swear up and down that banning the 2J isn't what they want to happen, but then they turn around and say that that is exactly what they want.

What's worse is, if that's the reason, they're perfectly OK with broken time trials, as long as the 2J isn't there everything will be fine.

Being the ultimate car guy if it has rubber and roles I would love to drive it, some more than other.

WangansGodHand
Red Bull X1 (both 10 and 11)
Tank Car
Prius
Prius
Prius TC

X1?? If you got a wheel,I think they should keep the x2011 because that car is a lot of fun to drive.if you got a good tune in the Prius tc,it's a good car too.
