They should remove every car you have to buy because thats all you can afford. Pretty much all B segment cars

The whole point of a racing game like GT is to collect and drive cars you will possibly never get to drive in real life. Forgive me for saying this, but GT is a driving simulator, not a life simulator. If you could only drive one car, you may as well ditch video games and get a car in real life.

Why nowdays thats all the people talk about. Yes in real life they look cool and show that you have lot of cash in the bank but in the game on a track they are useless and pointless.

I´d rather have older japanese and european rwd cars like..

The same goes for even just a Honda Civic, it's very likely you won't travel to Belgium or Germany or Japan or the US whenever you want.

Whatever illusions PD tries to give with it being a "Driving simulator" are bogus. Driving is awesome, yes, but, this game's heavily biased on racing. I see no trophies for using my indicators when turning at Tokyo R246, for example.


No, it's a RACING game. Sony classifies it as a racing game.

What i ment in this is that an avaerge earner could buy cheap coupes/hatchback/and old cars but its the new, fast, expensive cars they got to add. And classics iconic cars which are worth there weight in gold ford escort cosworth for one. Anything above 30k should be added. And a few more below. If its cheap, its cheap for a reason....crap. And even then, people who have hypercars still dont track them, been to a few track days this year and its mostly gallardo/gtrs/911s/evos/scoobies that are on track with a few home stripped cheap cars.

+more cars tuned by manufacturers, like M5, OPC Opels/Vauxhalls...

As I've said earlier in the thread, it makes absolutely no sense at all to remove and Premium cars. The reason being that the Premium models we see in GT5 will make it into GT6, and possibly beyond that.

I think it's funny how many people missed the point of Sugaris' post, even after it was explained. Posters who are critical of his 'selection' are criticizing that list quite literally.

On topic: Personally, I like Priuses. Do I want them in Gran Turismo? Hell no. Nissan Leaf race car thing is a different story.

Point taken on the "Big in Japan", that is quite understandable. I do however have to make one point, because I got in Gran Turismo, even before the release of the first one: In original Gran Turismo, part of the sensation was the Skyline/GT-R. Classic case of "Big in Japan". My favorite car in the game was Mitsubishi FTO, another complete unknown in the U.S. While I completely feel your pain about the overabundance of Japanese cars, it also is the signature, or part of the culture of this game.

We could debate all day long about where the line should be drawn, but I just wanted to make that one quick point. I completely agree on the standard car thing. Annoying to say the least.

Not a big fan of the Smart Fortwo in real life but extremely short wheelbase, rear-engine and relative high centre of gravity combined with GT's tuning options sound like a recipe for fun in my book.

There are at least 48 Skylines in the game and TONS of cars which are plain useless.

Honda City? Marcos Mini? Scion xA or xB? (pretty much any) Daihatsu?

Seriousoy, this has been discussed a lot of times and every single one we established that PD should get a clue when "picking" cars to Gran Turismo. 48 different Skylines of which there are about 5 generations? Why not include just 1 of each? Same goes with race cars, there are 2356354253-ish "different" R35s an 34s. What is so different about them except teams that PD decides to put them all in the game? Well, maybe some like having a bit of choice but come on, this is an overload.

I don't like the X cars or the Tank cars, because they're troll cars. But, instead, I've decided to hate the trolls, and not the cars they drive.


Anyways, there are K-Car cup racing leagues here on GTP. Those K-Car cup racing leagues need K-cars. Leave them. Leave all of the cars, kick the trolls.
