The five cars that you DO NOT want in GT6.

I know right. I make people mad with it when I go into a open lobby and drifting the whole cape ring with it and people are like O_O

I wasn't making a point with my question. I don't play online, so I was really trying to ask what the deal was with everyone disliking the tank car.

You've answered my question though and made a good point anyway. Thanks :)

Oh ok. And yeah what i do isn't the big deal. I have been in lobbies where you see someone hop in the tank car and start ramming the living crap out of you or your friends. Funny to me when it happens to me. But a lot of people get really butt hurt over it.

No they all MUST be kept in the game. I had so much fun with them in single make races.

Yeh a trip round the 'ring in a tank car (or tank car race) is Fun if done right, Just like a X1 time trail round the ring. Just wish the polished steel body could be sprayed to be different.

I don't want any cars removed from the game.

If I don't like it I just wont bother driving it. (Unless I have to for a championship ofcourse :P)

^ So, everyone's finally starting to agree on something? Let's have 1500+ cars in GT6. That, would shut the Forza fanboys up. :D

There are at least 48 Skylines in the game and TONS of cars which are plain useless.

Honda City? Marcos Mini? Scion xA or xB? (pretty much any) Daihatsu?
I like these cars and would be heartbroken if they were all removed. There. I have just proven conclusively that these cars are not useless, because I use them.

Oh, they're useless to you and may others? Great! Who cares?

If, on the other hand, they stayed in, you would not be heartbroken, because nothing has been taken away. And I could have the same fun I've always had.

I take personal offense here because you are trying to take away the aspect of GT that I love the most.
Seriousoy, this has been discussed a lot of times and every single one we established that PD should get a clue when "picking" cars to Gran Turismo. 48 different Skylines of which there are about 5 generations? Why not include just 1 of each? Same goes with race cars, there are 2356354253-ish "different" R35s an 34s. What is so different about them except teams that PD decides to put them all in the game? Well, maybe some like having a bit of choice but come on, this is an overload.
This only makes sense when talking about putting them in the game. But they're already there. You can't go back in time and tell PD not to bother. The energy and has already been spent.

Taking them out benefits no one and makes a small amount of people sad (people who own or have a preference for certain models of Skyline).

There is absolutely no reason to remove anything that's already there.

I'm sorry you feel "overloaded" with Skylines. You don't have to drive them. Any small inconvenience they cause for you can be fixed without removing them.

So please stop acting like there are cars in the game that no one cares about, because your wrongness is infuriating.

Let me sum it up like this:

-MrMelancholy15- I like the BMW 320i Touring Car

-analog- I like the Tank Car

-whiskymaser- I like the Skyline R34 Spec-V II Nür

-random generic 5 year old- I like the Vettel car & hax0rz

This list continues.

My best friend, whiskymaser, would be quite irritated if PD took the R34 Spec-V II Nür out of the game. He really likes it.

I'd be irritated if PD took out the 320i Touring Car, and the Skyline R32 GTS-t Type M.

A few others would be irritated if PD took the tank car out.

If we take a car out, no matter which car it is, someone will miss it.

There are GTP users from Japan, and the Philippines (I think,) Malaysia, Singapore... all places where the Daihatsu's sold (meaning that one of them might have owned a Daihatsu)

And there are GTP users (and even a moderator) who own Scion cars, in real life.

And, my dad and I used to drive an '02 Hyundai Accent. There was an Accent (albeit a rally car) in GT4, but, it didn't make it to GT5. And, I still complain.

None of you, (people who want to see a car removed,) have ever owned the car you want to see removed. And, seeing that car removed just sucks. There's no other way to say it.

When you own a real car, you love it. It's not just a "thanks for transporting me, you chunk of metal with rubber parts." Owning a car, driving a car etc., is so much more than transportation, and logic. Don't take away someone's love.

Maybe there can some updates for the standard models before becoming premium?

For example:

OLD Audi S4 '02 >>> NEW Audi S4 '13

OLD Volkswagen New Beetle 2.0 '00 >>> NEW Volkswagen Beetle '12

Talk about an update of car models huh?

I don't like the X cars or the Tank cars, because they're troll cars. But, instead, I've decided to hate the trolls, and not the cars they drive.

Anyways, there are K-Car cup racing leagues here on GTP. Those K-Car cup racing leagues need K-cars. :dunce: Leave them. Leave all of the cars, kick the trolls.

Some GT5 racers love the X Cars and Tank Cars, and do not race online at all. They are not part of your troll problem, why punish them?

I don't know about that, Toko. By now those cars have some historic value that would be lost by updating them. The '00 Beetle is arguably much more recognizable and familiar to most than the '12 one, though I would like to have the '12 as well.

Really though, I don't expect PD to put in every car from GT5 in GT6. They're probably going to cut some to keep everything premium.

And despite what I said before, I don't have a problem with it, because I think it's reasonable to save some the time it would take to remodel every premium and in doing so, improve the consistency of the game as a whole.

Do I still want every car? Absolutely! But I also don't want to wait decades for the game, so I'm willing to make compromise. What I don't understand is why people would want PD to actively avoid modeling a car even if they could quickly or easily, simply because they don't like it. Or worse, they want PD to take out cars they have already modeled as premiums! Talk about a waste!

Uh, yeah, that's what I said, 💡. Just because I worded it differently, doesn't mean that the point isn't the same.

I don't care if you say "Israel was attacked by Syria" or "Syria attacked Israel." It happened, and both ways of saying the same thing are grammatically correct, but entirely inversed. 👍 👍 We agree, but, you don't know it, yet, until you read this.

That is true. I'll just like a good car list. The X1s are fine, same with the Tank car, especially the K-cars. Not sure about the same models though. I imagine a perfect reasonable list of cars.

Such as a Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 Nur, a Toyota Supra RZ, a Honda NSX Type S Zero, you know something like that. I've done that in GT5 and I love it. :D

I'd just prefer it if they kept it simplified. I don't need multiple examples of the same car (Skyline, Miata) with just a different name when they aren't any different. Cars like the Impreza or Evo which are different between models is fine though.

The cars are different between models. Ever compared the weight of the Skyline GTS-t Type M to the Skyline GT-R? The GT-R is heavier, and the GTS-t is rear wheel drive.

The R33 models also vary in weight. So do the R34s.

And, the Evo VIII MR is a second faster than the Evo GSR... blah blah blah...

TL;DR = They're all different, somehow. Only the Miatas are similar.

Caterham- because it was a waste to keep it standard
GNX- because there were no Monte Carlo SS or Cutlass 442
20,000,000 Alfa
Volvo C30
Mini Countryman

You'll never get my Volvo. I'd rather PD gives me one less Lamborghini. I hate Lambs. Lambs are heavy. The wolves (Audi R8s etc.) will eat Lambs for breakfast. Actually, I reckon a Winter Stars tuned Volvo C30 is faster through Madrid than the Lambs.

If PD added the Polstar C30/S60 to the line-up, then fine. I like the look of the C30. I was happy to customize it, spent money on it, then heard the exhaust and was gutted.

True, but my first car was a '90 Saab 9000turbo. For whatever reason, only Kaz knows, not one ode to a rally Saab. But it's cool , I drive my GT5 '12 Black Edition that I've actually gone around Eastern Creek in and I'm enjoying the BRZ that I get see in the showroom until its delivered in November.

The BRZ is in GT5 now. $1. If you're buying one, I seriously recommend it.

From now on, I'll call it "My squishy," because it's the first showroom-stock FR car that tripods, I've ever seen. The suspension is quite soft. :yuck:
