Man shoots high-powered rifle into thick metal plate. Bullet ricochets off of said plate. Bullet flies all the way back to man and misses blowing his brains out by an inch as it hits his protective ear-wear.

And think, I actually had that happen to me, once. But only with a .22 pistol. It missed my 'package' by about 4 inches. Hit me on the inner thigh.

Oh, and the bullet did hit him; it didn't miss. As he said it hit him right on the side or his head. Ouch.

I guess we do, but not that many videos would be in it. Plus, I like the occasional break from all the 'funny stuff' in this thread.

Actually it hit him square on the side of his head, and knocked everything off his head and face. .50cal shoots a 700 gr. bullet that packs a huge punch. Lucky for him the bullet must have hit sideways and therefor didn't penetrate his head. Like I said, (un)luck bastard. I'm betting he had a massive lump and bruise on his head the day after.

You can see, the bullet bounced off the dirt about 5 feet in front of him (after screaming its way back from the initial ricochet) and hit him in the side of the head. Since he was looking mostly forward it wasn't a very square impact.

I'll second your analysis of his probable injuries, though.

Yep. If it hit him in the side of the head after the initial ricochet, he would look like Harvey Dent.
