Loli, he'll see what happens when/if he watches it. I've seen someone drop the show at episode 3 before, so that's where that stuff could be.

Xenosaga: The Animation

they're condensing a 50 hour video game into 12 episodes.

That's probably the reason the anime sucked so much.

Just finished 5 Centimeters per Second. Beautiful in so many ways I wish I would have watched it when it came out. So now I've seen 2 of Shinkai's works. I am going to watch the rest since I have them. Haven't been let down so far.

Samurai Champloo eh? I suppose I'll have to give it a look too.
I should as well. It's one of the most popular anime around, and right now (Not sure if it's ranked changed.), it's the best-selling anime BD on Amazon right now.

Whoever drops the show at episode 3(no, AT ALL) is insane and should be beat to death with a very big stick being held by a fat guy named Carl. Carl is a simple man who's only joy in life is beating people with big sticks.

TEH BOOOOOBBBSSSSS
Why are they SO BIG?
Because Mami. Didn'tcha know? That was her wish

Pffff... It still shoots foam :P

I know...that's why it's awesome.

Real men play with foam darts, son. Get with it.

I'm ordering this too. Chyea!

Yes, I could not believe my eyes with all the detail that movie has. And the end sensation after you finish it, like you're gonna look somewhere and... ah, it's so REAL. I loved it.

The stuff STARTS at Episode 3.

Once again, you're right. You've been reading. You are too wise for your own good lately.

Because Mami. Didn'tcha know? That was her wish

haha, I never though about it that way. Yeah, that must be it.

Got damn she's enormous.

I'm addicted to Birdy the Mighty: Decode 02's OP right now, can't stop listening to it.

And now you've found another target, great.<_<

Lay off him man. He'll like what anime he likes, nothing wrong with it.

Naw, I'll just do my thing but thank you. I just don't get people that complain about self esteem but don't do anything about it. Especially in a forum.

The episode in Champloo with the huge Purple Haze fire is awesome. Minus the part where they mixed up Marijuana and LSD highs. But still,

Good thing you haven't seen how I truly feel about myself being posted here. I don't think well all that much about myself.

I do it to throw you off guard :3

And this thread reminded me to watch 5cm/ps. I'll probably watch that along with the girl who leapt through time today or tomorrow. Maybe after the fire.

I should sometime watch it as well as the talk has gotten to me. Crunchyroll actually was involved in the DVD release.

You should also look into Grave of the Fireflies (Which is being re-released as a remastering here in March. I'll try picking it up to see what the movie is about.), I see nothing but amazing things about it. AOS- gave it a 10/10.

ANN's low and high points in a review.
+one of the best movies ever made, great extra features
-one of the most depressing movies ever made
It's one of the only few things they've reviewed that I've seen get an A+ (Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal, the LE BD import is the only other thing I've seen them give an A+.).

Now to watch Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shamballa on Hulu dubbed. I'll rewatch it subbed sometime later during my Winter break.

I'm surprised it took you this long to get to seeing it. I watched it on TV quite a while back

And yeah, I've been meaning to get to a few anime movies. Grave of the Fireflies, 5cm, time leaping lady, weird voice changing children, etc.

Anyway, back out to the fire.

I don't think [adult swim] ever aired it here. Reason why it took me this long, FUNi didn't stream it until now, and I didn't buy it as there were other things I wanted more (Mostly limited editions, and limited edition only stuff.).

I already figured that one out.

FMA Conqueror of Shambala isn't bad, but it is still an awkward bit I feel. At least when compared to what Brotherhood did. Fairly pretty animation, from what I recall. Worth watching.

I agree +1, worth the watch 👍

^^I wanna watch that.. it reminds me of hell girl for some reason 👍

Just for the record, I didn't realize you guys argued about MAL..

So i'm going to ask this: Why?

You need not know, Dice, not because we're secluding you from info, it's just for the greater good of this thread and all those who are holy.

Anyway, stupid manager decided not to tell anyone that we closed at midnight today so I got off work at 12:30, which is just dumb...

Speaking of Gundam, anyone remember SD Gundam?
Hate that show. It bastardized everything cool about gundams and it became lame.
Just pre-ordered DAT Saber. :D
GOOD FOR YOU!! High five for supporting the industry!
Hey, I'm not a typical teenager. I'm a pacifist and very shy so I can't be expected to like the same anime as everyone else.
I'm not violent IRL, but I love violent shows.
Noticed it after I rewatched Madoka 11. Note the artist :3
:embarrassed:
AOS and Loli vs Drav and Sephy. Come the 🤬 at me!
*whips out baton*

If they ditched the moe aesthetic, it'd be all the better.
If there is more drama than murder, I ain't watching it, so fill me in on that... I'll subscribe to dice1998 via email notification and you have to alert me as soon as someone gets killed.

Great, guess I should as well. I missed Princess Monoke when it premiered on Toonami. I forgot it was on (I was playing video games while it was on.), and by the time I remembered, they were like halfway through.

Then frickin buy it already. It's not that expensive or hard to find, and it's much more worth your purchase than all these ridiculously overpriced shows you constantly have your eyes on... :P

A japanese-to-spanish instant, error-free translator would be very useful. Really.

No doubt. There's just two small problems:

1. I barely know any Japanese or Spanish.

2. I don't have the time, patience or programming skills to make a full-fledged translator even if I did.

:P

Glad to hear it. You definitely can't go wrong with Shinkai. 👍

Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shamballa, I can see why people say this isn't really all that great of a continuation to the original series. There isn't really much to be said about it except...
Whoa, what the 🤬 happened to Gluttony?:lol:Also RIP Wrath, surprised how friendly he's gotten. Though I can't remember if he did at the end of the original series because it's been like two years since I saw the final episode.

Also wow, now they're both stuck in our world. I must admit, not too surprised at that, though I would have hated it if Al ended up staying on the other side because they would be back at square one.
Overall: 8/10

I really need to give the original series a rewatch sometime (This time subbed.). I've forgotten how many things worked, like what affect Alchemy has on
our world. I think it was something about using the people there, or the energy of our world.

Good thing I own both of these box sets (They're both out of print (You can still find them at some places where they're still in-stock.), the Viridian Collections are the latest release, you can get them for cheap. They're like $15 each at Walmart's site, that's the cheapest I've seen.), it'll make rewatching it subbed easier should the streams come down again (As FUNimation removes streams, then puts them back up for obvious reasons.). Only difference though between these is the box sets I got that were released back in 2009 have the guidebooks from the original 13 singles, the Viridian Collection re-release does not.
