Persona 4 episode 12. Nanako is so cute, so very very cute. And so is Rise. mmmm... All around good episode, I especially liked the insight into Yu's mind. I really don't want this show to end... but it seems to be getting close to finishing

My advice is to just do things and screw what other people think. Works out pretty well most of the time.
Anime wise, I realized I'd never watched Samurai Champloo, so I'm resolving that issue... 8 episodes in at the moment and I can fully see why people love it.

It's not dark and violent at all? I've seen gifs, and heard stuff, and that's what gives me an idea of what the actual show is like. I heard something really surprising happens in episode 3 so often. When I buy the show, I'll definitely see for myself what it's all about.

Well Lt. Virgil finally died. He wasn't supposed to be around that long as in the game, he died before the Elsa appeared, and that was a few hours into the game.
Shouldn't surprise me what they've done with this (Changing many things, cutting many things out, and other things.) as they're condensing a 50 hour video game into 12 episodes.

I can definitely see why that OVA that ties together season 1 and 2 is so important. It's definitely needed, and makes your experience of season 2 start out better.
Now for the music, they used the exact same opening (Not sure if the animation sequence is the same, but the song is definitely the same.) as the OVA that came out before season 2 premiered. Seems from the opening we're going to get more on Birdy's backstory of when she was a kid, and maybe the hardships she probably experienced due to being an Altan.
Episode 1 revealed what season 2's main thing is going to be. Last season it was finding the Ryunka, and stopping it from wiping out all life from the Earth, this season it's trying to capture a bunch of escaped prisoner's who were involved in the plan of making Earth the testing ground for the Ryunka.
Episode 2 definitely made things more interesting. Birdy bumped into an old childhood friend, Nataru near the end of episode 1, and as I can see in this episode, he definitely is angry with what happens to the Altans when they were discriminated against. He even is going around killing the prisoners (His father apparently is the one helping them hide out on Earth, which makes things even more interesting.) with a strange power, and he's going "How does it feel to have your arm ripped off by an Altan?". This season is more violent than the last, so I'm now seeing why FUNimation rated the OVA and season 2 TVMA instead of TV14 like the first season was.

This definitely most likely is going to surpass season 1, and it has a lot of potential. Hopefully it doesn't waste it like 11 Eyes did, good gawd that show went down the drain near the end.
Also, dat OP. The ending isn't as good as the OVA's, or last season's ED, but it's still good.

I accidentally started developing a program to aid in studying Japanese.
Right now all it's good for is studying Hiragana, but i'll be adding Katakana shortly. Then who knows what else I might add as I go along?
