He meant the show Hellsing Ultimate. Hellsing Ultimate is a redone version of Hellsing that just came out. And Death Note is pretty good.

I can't speak for One Piece, but lololol at calling those other shows top notch.


Neon Genesis Evangelion is mandatory for this thread, Puella Magi Madoka Magica is also another favourite around here.

- Rin: Daughters of the Mezzanine
- Rideback
- Wolf's Rain
- Birdy: The Mighty Decode
- Cowboy Bebop
- Witchblade (kinda)
- Spice & Wolf (I vote this series be mandatory for this thread, too.)
- Gurren Lagan (This one IS mandatory 'cause have the pictures and jokes are from this series.)
- Darker Than Black
- Trigun

And those should keep you busy for a while.

Hey buddy, I dropped Gintama and Soul Eater...

Bakuman is awesome as a drama. Just because I like one or two shows doesn't mean I'm into it overall.

You dropped Gintama only because you noticed how long it's been going (The manga is entering has been in WSJ for 8 years.). Soul Eater, you dropped it at 17/51, probably because episode 17 (One of the worst anime episodes, and filler episodes in anime history.) was boring beyond belief. I tried warning you on it.

Also on Bakuman. being awesome as a drama, it doesn't change the fact Bakuman. is a Shonen. It appears every week in Weekly Shonen Jump, and is entering it's 4th year in the magazine. Though of course, not all Shonen are in Weekly Shonen Jump, Weekly Shonen Sunday, Jump Sq., Monthly Shonen Gangan, Weekly Shonen Magazine, etc., there are many anime only Shonens.

I got it the day it came out here. I found it to be pretty good, though it has had very mixed reviews (GameSpot gave it like a 5/10, IGN, 7.5/10 IIRC.). It's only for fans, and it should be noted it covers up to the 300's, so if you're not caught up, you'll be spoiled a lot.

Birdy the Mighty: Decode is a must, season 2 is absolutely epic. Shame it sold badly in Japan, so a season 3 won't happen.

Yeah I saw an interview of IGN's on Bleach: Soul Resurrection, and the guy was figthing the Espada without even knowing (he had only seen like 50 episodes) so yeah. Also, the fact that One Piece is long doesnt concern me one bit. It is one of those animes you dont really want them to end. I believe a fellow OP fan know what I mean. As I said to AOS- OP alternates my mood. If im sad/angry, I watch OP and I feel a lot better. I was happy but I literally had tears in my eyes in that episode when they are burning up their ship Going Merry. Someone might laugh at this, but thats just me......i almost never cry, but one episode made me to shed tears.

I know, the ending absolutely sucks. The rumors are 100% true that the ending sucks.

Also, did you drop it before the 30's? If so, you dropped it before the anime diverged from the manga because they caught up too fast (Since the manga is a monthly series.), so they did their own thing. People are hoping it gets the Brotherhood treatment.

Ahh... I remember that filler. Terrible. Episodes after that where great tho, especially when the fight with the Espada begins both in Karakuri city and Huego Mundo (im not sure if the names are right, I havent watched Bleach in 6 months or so )

Either Bleach is desperately trying to get loooooong, or they are up to some big episodes and OVA's. Otherwise fillers are just annoying.....
