Either Bleach is desperately trying to get loooooong, or they are up to some big episodes and OVA's. Otherwise fillers are just annoying.....
Blame Kubo for all the filler. He makes the panels too large, and doesn't put in enough dialogue, hence making some episodes cover 3-5 chapters at once. Also bad news, this is overkill. I wanted more, but 10 years, even 5, ugh...

With sales and it's ranking in WSJ falling, it might just end prematurely.

I know, the ending absolutely sucks. The rumors are 100% true that the ending sucks.

Also, did you drop it before the 30's? If so, you dropped it before the anime diverged from the manga because they caught up too fast (Since the manga is a monthly series.), so they did their own thing. People are hoping it gets the Brotherhood treatment.

I dropped it some where after that, where things began to diverge. Some point after the whole city-robot non-sense

All you've missed is a couple month long filler arc, the end of the Aizen arc, and the start of the Fullbring troll arc.

FTFY.

Meh, my "appetite" for Bleach is slowly fading away either way......they can make all the fillers they want as far as im concerned.

Kubo has been trolling since day 1, so you could consider the whole Aizen thing a troll arc, or even the whole series trolling. Well, everything after Soul Society that is.

The ending sucks, but the show was still great overall for lots of people (Including those who thought the ending sucked.).

Also, you should have at least gotten to up the early 30's.

Gintama is probably an anime that you would need quite a bit of time to watch and make sure no milk is nearby cause I heard its hilarious. :D --- Randy

With 201 episodes, and like 30+ of the new season (Ranked 1st on MAL.), yeah, definitely need a lot of time.

Also yes, it's hilarious. It's been a while since I saw any of it (It's been on-hold at 25/201 episodes for quite some time for me.), but I do remember it being hilarious. I love many of the references they make to other series. There was a whole episode that parodied Death Note as when that episode aired, Death Note had recently premiered.

The end of the Aizen arc was pretty bad. But if it had actually been the end of the series, it would have had the potential to be great. Sadly, I think the restriction of having to make more after that caused them to ruin it.

What do you call the arc between the end of the Aizen arc and the beginning of the fullbring arc? (The fullbring arc is pretty meh so far, some interesting bits though.) Anyway, the arc with Kageroza and all that was actually pretty good I thought. The final fight was very satisfying.

WIP...

I've been wanting to start Gintama for so long. I think I will soon.

Looks like we got another "AOS- Original" coming up!

Birdy the Mighty: Decode is a must, season 2 is absolutely epic. Shame it sold badly in Japan, so a season 3 won't happen.

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised with Birdy. I still have to hunt down the '96 OVAs, but...I actually expected it to be another boob-series like The Demon King or the awful Queen's Blade, but it wasn't, and it was extremely good and well done. It is a shame that there won't be more of it.

Sephy starting a long-running Shonen?! This is madness!!:scared:

Just take the show at your own pace, nobody is asking you to catch-up as fast as possible.

What would make you think that?

Also yeah, the original OVA is hard to find. Central Park Media had it, then they went under years ago. It's so hard to find (And I'm not talking price-wise, I'm talking in general. It's rarer than The Law of Ueki's box set which has only one new copy on Amazon for $200.).

Your best bet is to own the VHS for dirt cheap. I luckily still have a VCR, so it's still an option for me.

I'm just going to watch it as a comedy. I've heard it's [JAYNE]HI-larious[/JAYNE].

With that I am off to bed. Classes start tomorrow. Good night everyone! <3

for each post you want to quote. When you get to the last post you want to quote then hit the regular quote button and they'll all be there. Double posting isn't allowed here.

Holy crap, that's what that's for??? I just quote-copy-backup-quote the next one-paste on top-repeat till I'm done and then edit in the stuff I want.

Also, One Piece is mainstream for a reason. Us wierdos can be expected to find it rather blase, but it's just a long-running ensemble show - all about the characters and their relationships more than any plot. Highly episodic. Though I'm speaking from just the first 30 or so... may watch it at some point, but maybe not. Didn't quite fall in love with the characters, and have others keeping me company already I like better. But don't knock anybody for loving the show.

And the next point is Gintama. I wouldn't exactly call it shounen. It's got elements of both, and can be taken both ways. Yes, lots of blatant pottie humor, but also a lot of clever double-entendres. Never going to have the time to give it a second watch, and glad I started it when there were only 140 eps to powerwatch, but I bet giving these a second watching would reveal lots of little inside jokes you missed the first time.

I've always wondered what Steins;Gate falls under... or visual novels for that matter.

edjt: I'm so bad at colouring. About as good as it gets:

I'm going to try out some other nifty tricks later.

Thought everyone had seen it already. I do have an "at least try remain anonymous" policy... it doesn't hurt. But, I'm sure someone saved it and can give you a copy xD I honestly don't have it anymore.

For anyone under 18, definitely do your best to make sure pedo-yay knows nothing that will help him take the seat next you on a bench when you're least suspecting it.

I was gone all day kayaking... but it's alright, I didn't want to see your ugly mug anyways. :sly:
