Nichijou most definitely here. Still watching and enjoying Carnival Phantasm.

While I see how Nichijou isn't funny to some, I found it surprising how some of us (not me) were laughing their butts off (through typing on a keyboard) on stream last friday.

I'm a ghost, basically.

I drift about, accumulating knowledge that has no real relevance to society desire for me to assume knowledge about (basically, I choose what knowledge to assimilate).

I am still relatively new to Anime, to be fair. So I tend to stick with the older shows, rather than watching the newer shows. Time is limited, I prefer to watch high quality, tried and tested shows. Bleach isn't really in that field so far (up to 80 episodes) but I like it, so far.
The Big O is 12 years old, so it's up your alley on old shows.
Big what? :P
BIG O, SHOWTIME!!!!!!!

Cast in the name of God. Ye not guilty.
By the way:

I hope no one here was attached to those series.
I was to many of those shows. Also, you best get anything Bandai has already released as fast as you can as they'll only keep making new copies until the licenses expire. Once the licenses expire, that's it, they'll go for inflated prices on Amazon.
"All releases after February 2012 have been cancelled. To include: Turn A Gundam, My Ordinary Life, Gosick, Gundam UC (episode 5-6)"

Release of what? Manga? Anime?
Yes, I've been talking about Bandai Entertainment since the news came out. This is a big blow to the R1 industry. I'm still talking about it even.
---------------------
The Big O episodes 1 and 2, man those were much more enjoyable than so many episodes from season 2. I wonder what 3-8 is going to give me.
------------------------
This is already going to be going down as one of the biggest anime news stories of 2012. The forum posts, the forum posts.

It's hilarious and some moments hit me really hard  Like the deer. I found that our banter also added to the hilarity.

You just added "or" in there. If you looked at the original quote, there was no "or". It was "Releases of what? Anime? Manga?", so me answering "Yes" makes sense.

It makes sense if it was yes to both, but When I worded my question that way, it means I'm asking what it was. Thus it doesn't make entire sense. Lighter issue, this ain't a literature thread.

Cano was mashing his "H" and "A" keys every 2 minutes.

Love the exaggerated reactions that Nichijou has with their characters (except for Mai)...especially when Sakamoto took the gum.

I'm watching it anyway, need my redjuice supplements.

Anyway, I google Nichijou for images and I get something else:

Name as many as you like.

By the way, is Idolmaster the slightly more mature version of K-ON or something?

P.S. Dat Stella.

Wait...doesn't Bandai run the Anime Legends series? That stinks. I loved being able to buy complete series for dirt cheap.

Bandai also holds several rights to things like Power Rangers and Transformers, so that'll be the end of them, as well. (Not that I care, and I'm sure Spielberg will buy the Transformers rights.)

Oh well, I can still buy the Wolf's Rain collection and a couple other Anime Legends series.

Finished episode 6 of Bokurano, this show is insane.

Also, LOL at this line:

Dung Beetle
If some cute little girls are calling for me, I guess I gotta show up and strut my stuff, y'know?

Cano specially

haha, silence. It'd been a while since I saw such absurd comedy. Like I said, ever since Abenobashi had I laugher so hard at anime comedy. Nichijou has the kind of absolute nonsense I really like in anime, unlike, for example, the stupidity found in Trigun, which only made me hate it.

But Nichijou = win. My wife was looking at me like "really?"

Oh and I forgot to mention, Bokurano 6:

With Kaku dead, they're down a pilot... which means that they're either going to find someone new or more likely..... Kana's going to pilot! D:

I DON'T WANT HER TO DIE.

But how could I tell you weren't asking which it was? You never included that "or". I basically answered yes to both since that's what's happening, they're not releasing any new manga, anime on DVD, and anime on Blu-ray after February 7, 2012, the last day anything new will come out from them.
-----------------
These are pretty much the only companies left over here that distribute anime. I might have forgotten a few, but they're pretty much obscure, deal with like one specific thing (Disney doing only Miyazaki.), or don't really do anime anymore (AnimEigo).
VIZ Media
FUNimation Entertainment
Aniplex of America
Sentai Filmworks
Nozomi Entertainment
NIS America
Discotek
Media Blasters

Gone:
Central Park Media
Bandai Visual USA
Bandai Entertainment (For the most part.)
ADV Films-(Restructured itself as multiple different companies.)
Geneon Entertainment
Tokyopop

Azu-nyan eating a doughnut... so cute...

Anyway, I am half way through Squid Girl, and Nagisa is my favorite character of that show, though I wish I was as smart as Squid Girl, especially with mid-terms in a few weeks.

Yes, yes they do. Also, Wolf's Rain is out of print. Inflated prices you go.

You know why Fuu is holding a flag with the number 3?

Because she ain't number 1...

I think I should have wrote instead "Because she isn't a winner."

I found that our banter also added to the hilarity.

Stream chatting makes everything funny; it's like a drug. We can watch the most serious or depressing show and still get a giggle somewhere along the way.

"That little dog just got blown up by those little kids...

dog shoulda brought a gun to show those _______ who the real dawg is around here!"

Anyway, I found this blog post that talks about video games that could become an anime...

one mentioned is already an anime now :P

Still FFFFFUUUUU.

I hope Sekirei: Pure Engagement (Limited Edition) and Heaven's Lost Property (Limited Edition) stay in stock long enough for me to get them. The collecting life, so fun, so enjoyable (And frustrating.).:)

Dang. I like this from Amazon:

List Price: $49.98
New: from $65.12
Used: from $65.12

First time I've seen a strikethrough on the list price and then the actually prices are higher...
Shouldn't be surprising, here's more inflation.
Ouran High School Host Club (Blu-ray)
Ouran High School Host Club (DVD)
Dragon Ball Z: Dragon Box 2
Oreimo Limited Edition-Show was released limited edition only, sold out in a little over a month at $60 Rightstuf ($75 MSRP).
Negima!
Garden of Sinners (Blu-ray Import)-Sold out before it's release, despite being $400 for 8 movies. MSRP, $600.

Anime when it goes out of print, the prices usually go up depending on the show, and other things.

Well, I survived my first flight... so if I survive my next one, then I guess you're right. :P

Don't say that dude, as much I don't like you and wished you got into a plane crash, I wouldn't want you to get into a plane crash and die.

:P
