Reborn! 9-12, the show keeps getting more hilarious.

Also I love how Kyoko in episode 12 is like "Oh, Yamamoto is dodging a tank in the school yard that shoots mini baseballs with spikes that explode. Perfectly normal.".

The coolest weapon in anime and manga are swords hands down man! Especially Kenshin's reverse-edged sword.

Just saw Rinne no Lagrange. Too soon to pass any kind of judgement but I'm kind of looking forward for the next episode, that says something already. A bit of ecchi, humor and a decent fight scene right off the bat. Looks like a lighthearted mecha anime. Doesn't look like it has any potential to be anything more than a forgettable show, but I think I might enjoy it. We'll see.

By the way, I've always been amused at how anime characters deal with the hugest absurdities like they were the most common thing. I mean, this girl has a normal everyday life, just a regular high school girl. Suddenly some random girl appears and asks her to pilot a robot. Not only she goes along with it, but in the midst of a battle she boards the freaking robot with a smile on her face. I mean, seriously... what the hell?! This anime may have taken this to a whole new level but it's not the first time I've seen this happen.

When I get home from school, I can't wait to watch the final two episodes of Birdy the Mighty: Decode 02 (Shame it sold bad in Japan, so no season 3, even though as I heard they set themselves up for a season 3.). This second season has been impressing me so much. I think my profile page should end up becoming stuff on Birdy as a result.

If a Blu-ray box is announced in Japan, I'd definitely import it in hopes of good sales leading to a season 3.

Mirai Nikki 13:

The show is failing to impress me lately but it was a decent episode overall. And man... I approve that last shot with Yuno :3

I... didn't really understand this episode. Sure, they're looking for Yuno... but
WHY WOULD YUNO TIE YUKI UP? WUT?

Felt kind of filler-ish, but it's okay since Mirai Nikki has a habit of having a weaker episode, but then a strong resolution to the plot line in the next. Most of the time anyway.

LOL the end segment was amusing. I was wondering how her phone was waterproof..

I made it safely to my ship.:D
Well, considering that you've got seamen to back you up, I don't see why you wouldn't have arrived safely.

Bakuman II just carried its drama along.. stupid boys played the wrong cards.

I like how this happened, the Soul Eater Blu-ray boxes (Which had English subs, and the English dub.). They came out early 2011, then our releases came out a few months later. And you got reverse-importation right here on Amazon Japan. I mean, why buy the Japanese release (Which I must admit, the artwork I like more on their release.), when you can get the American copy that will work on your Blu-ray player, has Japanese audio, and is significantly cheaper?

So now the question becomes... will I survive my flight to Singapore? :scared:

No, the question is will you survive Singapore? Get your head out of the clouds.

I forgot to mention that I totally love Katawa Shoujo's soundtrack :D

Hanako's my favourite character 👍

Oh, I'll survive Singapore. Might have AIDS by the time I leave, but I'll survive. :P

...unless that's your plan: to give me your AIDS and let me die slowly over time.

Do you think I'm that cruel?

On second thought, it may be best to not answer that.

False, the only thing you have to do is watch anime, and only anime. Nothing else!!!:grumpy:

Night ya---...in.. Yain :3

I've decided that I'm not done with Katawa Shoujo yet, I've heard that the blind girl's route is really really good :P But Hanako's definitely my favourite character and she has the best Act 2 intro:

Good morning all. *sips Asuka's Red Bull*

It's the guy from Breaking Bad lol

Or it could be you... who knows...

:mischievous:
Thanks for spoiling it. :grumpy:
I'm sure Spielberg will buy the Transformers rights.

I'd pay to see a Transformer face a Gundam or an Eva, but the fight would probably be a bit one sided.

Anyway, I found this blog post that talks about video games that could become an anime...
I'd laugh if GT ever became an anime.
 I just discovered this show today. I want to see it soon. Yuri mecha show.
You had me at yuri mecha show. I hope Eva 3.0 turns out like that if Asuka/Shinji falls through, or Rei/Shinji.
I take it you still haven't told Soryu or her clones of C-SHINJI's betrayal.
Especially since brother/sister incest is probably illegal in Japan.

DK sent me to where I got that pic. hurr durr.
You're welcome.

Ah. Okay. Thanks.

Quite a shame.
It truly is, they had such a big influence here, brought over great titles (The Big O, Cowboy Bebop, GITS, Outlaw Star-I've heard that one is a classic, and more.), and more.

This is a much bigger deal than when Tokyopop went under. People saw it coming, mainly due from the many, many, many bad business decisions like picking everything in sight whether it would sell or not for example.

BTW, this pissed people off. The stupidity astounds me. You sell all this stuff, get rid of almost all your employees, let all your titles go back, and you think it's a good idea to try to publish manga again? Stu Levy, WHY?*Facepalm*

So, watched Watt-sisname's recommended title Memories. 1995 2-hr movie consisting of 3 sorts. Pretty good! I'd recommend it to Cano, 1st part anyways, at least on the strength of the music. Yoko Kanno interpreting Madame Butterfly was pretty great.

I forgot that no more Bandai anime, means no more Bandai anime video games, too. Oh, well. I didn't play any of them, anyway....except the PS2 GITS game. It's a good, but frustrating game....but still fun.

Dude, I've seen it like 4 times. I love it.

Ah, good, thought you would! Nice music in that, right? And pretty abstract stories, fun/challenging, not shounen stuff by far.

"Bandai Entertainment Inc. is a subsidiary of Namco Bandai Holdings (USA) Inc. and the premier distributor of Japanese animation on DVD and programming for television broadcast in North America. Titles include Gundam 00, Code Geass: Lelouch of Rebellion, Lucky Star, Gurren Lagann, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Escaflowne, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, My Otome, and many more."
I am sure that we will see some titles in the future since Namco probably holds the rights to them.

Wait for the American release and buy it. Granted that not every title is released in America..

All of them are amazing. I don't think I could pick a favourite amongst the three. It's this kind of movies that I grew up with after bein' initiated in anime by TV. Akira, GITS, Memories, Spriggan, all that stuff way back then (Jin Roh, Metropolis, Kite, but that's much more recent, also comes to mind).

And I really think that people need to see more of this stuff. Miyazaki might be godly good and the most famous, but Ghibli isn't the only option when it comes to cool anime movies.
