Yeah? you wanna know what you WILL like?

20110701161131!Minatsuki_Takami_anime.png

Minatsuki Takami aka Hummingbird.

You think you know me so well, eh sweetie?

.....well you're right :P

It's not that I know you well, everyone who looks at that will fall in love.... including Cano, and no she doesn't need glasses.

Daaamn son, that's a lot! For me, it's going to be:
Nisem, Another, and BRS.

I don't know if you're ignoring me or what but I do think you'll like Senki Zesshou Symphogear.

New stuff? So far:

Another
Brave 10
High School DxD
Kill Me Baby
Moretsu Pirates
Nisemonogatari
Recorder to Randoseru
Rinne no Lagrange
Senki Zesshou Symphogear
Zero no Tsukaima F

Also watched the two Queen's Blade OVAs that just came out. Ugh. The "special" episode is a workout video.

Just noticed my brainfart  "by the way?"

Checking out High School DxD and Moretsu Pirates right now and Another when it comes out. Zero no Tsukaima wasn't really my cup of tea as far as I remember so I'm gonna pass on that. Anything you recommend there?

I didn't ignore you, I understood that you felt I might like the show, but I didn't dig the character designs so I'm not all the interested yet.

On another note, I wish I didn't go look for Deadman Wonderland pics; as it spoiled something for me.

Anyway, this show is GRUESOME, and more TWISTED than Mirai Nikki... if you guys are seriously interested, get the uncensored.. I didn't realize there would be gore so mine was censored, but I cringed at the punishment game never the less.

There are only the first episodes out so far for all of these but first impressions for "good":

Brave 10: DAT Isanami. DAT hair. DAT outfit. DEM sleeves. Also contains decent action with a little humor thrown in. Don't know if I'd recommend it yet though except for DAT Isanami.

High School DxD has a good humor to boob to action to dark ratio. It was pretty entertaining. The main character's goal is to get a girlfriend so he can grope boobs. Surprisingly gory.

Moretsu Pirates might turn out good. A pirate girl who works at a maid cafe was really all I needed to decide to watch it.

Recorder to Randoseru is very short (3 minute episodes) but was extremely funny. The main character has already been arrested because the police thought he was a pedophile.

Rinne no Lagrange. You already know. :)

Senki Zesshou Symphogear is completely centered around music. The enemy is called the Noise and music is how the good guys fight them. Sounds kind of dumb but I really enjoyed the first episode.

I agree with you as far as Zero no Tsukaima goes. I don't think it's that great but I love Louise and I've already seen the first three seasons so it's just a "why not" kind of deal for me now lol.

Okay. Acknowledgment. Thank you. :P

While they're fighting with sound, Deadmen fight by manipulating their blood.... and Minatsuki's just.... oh god.. Just watch the show and find out yourselves and don't look up character bios or anything.

Another ep 1 is out. Unfortunately I think I will have to wait until after class to watch it.

God Knows what that show contains

I suddenly like Shiro that much more now.

AOS recommends Deadman Wonderland if you're looking for extreme violence.

and I have dibs on Minatsuki. She is one hell of a frightening child. :mischievous:

Will check out Brave 10 then.

Just finished High School DxD... that's the naughty I'm talking about! But it looks like the story is going to be quite weak and the humor was so so to me. Not sure If ecchi alone is going to keep me hooked.

Recorder to Randoseru was... it was over so fast I don't know what to think  I suppose the guy is actually a child? Something like that old movie where the kid grows up so fast he looks like a 40 year old in fifth grade? Weird stuff

It does look weak but I still want to see where it's going.

Yeah he's like Robin Williams in Jack. I thought that episode was very funny. Can't wait until the next one.

@Kamuifanboy - nice picks there for the four you're watching! And, Initial D is still going in the manga, so there's a chance there'll be a Stage 5, but that depends on whether or not a studio thinks there's still enough interest for the project to make money. It's been so long since Stage 4. Let's see, Stage 1 was 1998, 2nd Stage was 1999-2000, 3rd Stage was 2001, 4th Stage was 2004. So, 8 year gap is probably too big to bridge...

Well that's a shame. I've just finished watching the last episode of Stage 4, and I was really hoping for good news on more.

On ep 8 of DW. I want to see the biggest deception get played out in episode 10. If that happens, this show is getting a 7.8/10, at least.

Wow... Moretsu Pirates was pretty good, this show actually has potential. I wasn't expecting that. I'll be following this one for sure, unless it manages to fail hard somehow.

Oh, and a realistic reaction to an absurd situation too. That's what I was talking about, take your time, let the story develop in a believable way. There's no need to throw the character into action in the very fist episode.

Yeah he's like Robin Williams in Jack. I thought that episode was very funny. Can't wait until the next one.

Yeah, they had a couple of good jokes there but then it was over. Episodes need to be bigger :indiff:

Hey... I drank once  that you know of :3

Anyway, not exactly. I always knew how to appreciate the uhm... dumber shows. They have their qualities too. There are only so many great shows out there anyway.

Also, there's something about only being able to watch one episode a week that makes me a lot more tolerable to shortcomings a show may have. Mirai Nikki and Guilty Crown being prime examples.

Oh...? And what would that be may I ask?

You mean what it is that makes me more lenient to currently airing shows? I don't know myself... I think it's since I'm watching it so sparingly, my nerves are already healed from whatever bothered me when I get to watch the next episode

That makes sense.

Finished Deadman Wonderland.... wtf @ the ending....I'm too easily amused with fights, something dumb happened at the end and the protagonist didn't get what he wanted, nor he reach out for it when he finally earned it. Ending flopped, and some BS stuff happened which never got explained or finished.

My rating for Deadman Wonderland has gone down to a 6/10. Only watch this if you want to see extreme violence.

-AOS

MAL says Mirai Nikki is 26 episodes long... How is it going to be that long? I was hoping it'd be maybe 15 episodes, as it looks like its reached its climax...and everything going down in 1-2 more episodes.

Also, if I don't have much work this week, Code Geass Avatars.
