You don't get artistic freedom when you're doing paid commissions, bro.

Sounds like you needed to give him more reference material and information about what it is exactly that you wanted.

*writes on notepad*

So tell me Yain. What else have you heard about Singapore?

Just watched Neko Rahmen. It isn't very good.

Sounds like someone doesn't get that I was joking.

If I recall correctly, AOS informed me of his idea to make "me" muscular, and I told him that I was fine with that.

Brave 10 1:

Isamani is cute. :D Saizo is a trip. The whole group comes together in the next episode, and the fighting scenes... AWESOME.
:D

Sounds like someone doesn't get that this is the internet.

:)

This ain't the internet, this is my iPod.

Also, why do you have the same avatar as Cano? Is Safari just glitching, or are you really using his avatar?

Jar Jar Binks is the greatest character, ever.

Oh and pod-racing is an amazing sport.

Oh and badass characters should always have deaths that make them look little a bitch.

This is extremely, extremely awkward. I demand the complete return of my girl.

I agree with the last two. The first one explains your love for extremely obnoxious characters like Feyris though...

So I watched the first 3 mnutes of zero no tsukaima f.

Win! They ****ed up on shana and kill me baby was boring as hell, but some Louise action looks promising.
Well J.C. Staff is being sadistic it seems IIRC, they have 6 shows total airing this season. That is just insane. Those poor underpaid animators.:(
-----------------------
Finished Birdy the Mighty: Decode 02, that 9/10 still remains. This season was just so epic. Shame there won't be a season 3 due to poor sales in Japan.:(I can only hope if a Blu-ray box is announced, and it sells well enough, a season 3 could happen. I'd definitely import that thing.

Watched Rinne no Lagrange, a few things.
1. What compelled VIZ Media to get this kind of show? Seriously, what compelled them to? Lots of people like me are still baffled at them picking up this kind of show. They're not known at all for picking up shows with fanservice.
2. What were the production values?:0Were they much higher than the industry standard?

3. This was fairly good I must admit. Currently an 8/10 show right off the bat. I wonder if 2012 will continue upon the success, and improvement that 2011 brought to the table (That was quite a year in so many ways.).
4. The OP and ED are pretty.:embarrassed:

And correctly recalled you did. I was boosting your self-esteem, because you wouldn't want to be looking a scrawny dude with shaggy hair impaling a fictional character, now would you?

Just finished After Story 16 and... it's just not working out for me.

Nagisa and Tomoya's boring everyday life bores me to death. Nagisa is this perfect Japanese housewife which bores me to death. I almost wish it goes back to the other characters stories which also bored me to death.

Nagisa's death was touching but the anime failed to make me care enough about her, or any other character for that matter.
For some reason I just can't "sync" with this anime.

How do I check how many posts I have in just THIS thread? I doubt it's similar to with ZetaBoards.

It's exactly the same as ZB.

Just let yourself cry so you'll enjoy watching the show at least! :scared:

Also, I decided to remove the camouflaged links to the streams and the anime appreciation club since we got streams more active and people seem to keep forgetting I've had hyperlinks in my sig. Well now you guys can see it!.... You're welcome!

Blah Blah Blah Piracy Killed the Anime Dub

I'm not going into this with you because your idea of sources is a public forum and "people in the industry"

On an unrelated note, somehow other major media companies are doing fine with their stuff, perhaps they know what they are doing.

And honestly, singles are beyond stupid. Unlike you, and the small niche of people willing to pay out their eyes for anime, it is a side interest of mine and I have far more pressing things to spend money on, like bills and food.

It's slice-of-life, bro. I like Nagisa and Tomoya's story a lot more than the other character's, because it feels a lot more grounded in reality and it's the only one that's had any semblance of emotional impact on me.

Though depending on what direction the show goes in after episode 16, it could **** it up.

You mean like the animation companies in Japan who are raking in the cash with those $80 singles, and $350 box sets? Anime sales go up in Japan (Madoka Magica broke sales records, despite being $90 for each 2 episode Blu-ray single.), video games go down, despite video games being much, much, much cheaper.
