First time I've seen a strikethrough on the list price and then the actually prices are higher...

At least Anime Network still has it for the suggested retail price. That's $15 cheaper than amazon. It sucks, though. I have Wolf's Rain, but a couple of the discs are scratched beyond repair and I've been meaning to replace the discs for a while...I better do it whilst I can, it seems.

The Anime News Network thing, that's just a price comparison thing. I use it to look at various releases, compare prices, to see where that release is still in stock, and more.

Buy.com, Barnes & Noble, and DVD Empire all list it as "Backordered", a very good sign it's out of stock, and they won't get any more.

Yeah, best act on anything Bandai as soon as you can, because they'll only keep printing copies until the license to each show expires.

VIZ Media, you failed yet again. No subs on Rinne no Lagrange. This is just like when you first simulcasted InuYasha: The Final Act, it took you hours to upload it, and when you did, no subs. Good grief.<_<

And people are still surprised that VIZ Media got it, VIZ Media, the people who put out Naruto, Bleach, Naruto Shippuden, InuYasha, Nana, Vampire Knight, and more here. This isn't the type of show they pick up. Since when do they pick up a show that has plenty of fanservice (Judging from the trailer I saw on their YouTube page.)?

They are actually pretty good as far as I can tell. Maybe too literal for some, but I actually like literal.

Truly astonishing how fast these guys are. I ventured into the fansubbing world once... used take me days to translate a whole episode xD

Well they have a week to do it

More like they have the subs ready beforehand (Like for instance, they probably already have subs ready for the latest Mirrai Nikki episode.). The contract with the Japanese company just makes them have to put the episodes up 1 week later (And they can't breach that, otherwise they get in trouble, it's like trying to release a show on DVD/BD before the date the Japanese say they can.). Though on Guilty Crown, the contract allowed them to put the episode up an hour after the Japanese airing.

From this one video (It's on Hulu, so you can't view it.) VIZ Media put up on how they simulcasted Tiger & Bunny, they pretty much receive the Japanese script, and a translated script, so all they really do is fix up the translated script, and a few other things.
