I swear to a nonexistant entity that is worshipped by many people...

 👍

So while you guys whipped up a page of text, I submitted the first review.

Hmm?

Hmm.

Hmm...

Tasty, I like it. Quite in-depth, without being spoiler-ridden. 👍

I really ought to be hittin' the sack soon, but I'll try my hand at writing a review or two tomorrow. :)

I asked it because I wanted to know what you would do without the anime industry being alive at all. You wouldn't get newer shows. That was the whole point, you kept going "Oh, I can rely on just fansubs for my new shows no matter what happens to the industry.". That works only as long as the R2 industry is alive to produce these shows.

You use a hypothetical that you then agree is insanely unlikely below. And what would I do without new anime? Watch old anime? Play StarCraft? Read books? Do photography? Go outside? Girls? Cars? Anime is a very small part of my many, many interests.

Never have the "I can always get anime." mentality as while you can always get older shows, you can't get newer shows all the time. The industry there can die. Market changes can happen, and it can lead to a decline in an industry to where it just dies.

Well, considering it isn't going to die for the foreseeable future, I don't see why you'd bother asking this. I don't need a US distribution system to get new anime. New being stuff that comes out in Japan. If the industry dies there, oh well, it happens and my life will go on.

Or were you trying to imply my quality of life would be impacted at all by the anime industry collapsing?

What you are doing is building if-statements on if-statements, one of the worst methods to making a point.

Can't we just all get along?

Honestly... this crap ain't gonna convince either side that they're wrong, and it's only gonna escalate into people getting butt-hurt. :P

No, it's not possible.

Going to put down what I have for my review on Dragon Box 1 so far, going to continue to edit it, I'll let you all know when I'm done.

Quit reading and finish Bokurano so you can write an unbiased review of it, dammit!

I wouldn't write a review anyway

But I really gotta sleep... Intended to go to sleep at 10.. it's 12:46. You're all too distracting. Night!

There is a difference between having different sides and making insane hypothetical situations the basis for an argument. Like this.

If a throw a plastic bottle in the Pacific Ocean, it could be eaten by a shark, which would eventually die and break down and be eaten by other fish. Which might pick up some of the plastic bits, which could eventually end up in a cut of Sashimi. And that Sashimi, if eaten by a major CEO in Japan, could kill poison him due that plastic possibly being there. He might not recover, and it could throw a company into chaos. And this company might be a major anime company, which may mean no new anime.

Did I do it right?

No, it's not possible.

Because you refuse to attempt to make or see a rational argument. See above. That is what you sound like.

I get it. I'm just saying you might as well be talking to a wall, because he's not gonna change his stance.

Write a review on Serial/Lain, Tierylord!

I concur.

I'm gonna go ahead and claim the following anime for review:
Koi Kaze
Les Miserables Shoujo Cosette
Noein
Gankutsuou
Gantz

That doesn't mean that you can't also review them, but your effort would be more beneficial writing reviews for other anime.

All I got to do is finish that Dragon Box 1 review, then move onto something else. It'll probably be something like Fullmetal Alchemist: The Complete First Season or Fruits Basket: The Complete Series Collector's Edition.

Should hang a dart board on that wall then :sly:

Anyhow, I might do some reviews for a few anime, but it won't be for a bit as I'm kind of busy with school and photography work.

And this girl wants me to watch Clannad. Worth my time?

Clannad? No. Clannad After Story? Judging by what I've seen so far, yes.

Glad to hear you might contribute, btw. 👍

Lookin' pretty solid, broski. :) 👍

I'm on 14

You like?

Finished Unlimited Blade Works... not much to say... I must have missed out on a few things.

Damn Ilya got pwned.

Okay, 1. You've gotta watch Clannad before After Story...or you could just watch the movie which just sums up both seasons.

And 2. If you don't like the English dub, the sub is better...the jokes are WAY funnier in the subbed version.

Don't give him a shortcut, he should watch both seasons.

Done Bokurano 11. I think every episode is going to touch me in this show, this one did.

Gendodammit, 9 PAGES last night?!

Anyway, get well soon. :P
Thanks for your kind words.
You don't have to talk about mai waifu like that just because of our miscommunication. :(

Besides, do you really wish that on such a beautiful creature?
I've always thought of people who denounce Asuka to be akin to those who denounce evolution simply because they don't understand it. :sly:
That's right, I'm questioning their intelligence.

Anyway, I think we already found a pretty good solution... keep TC occupied with the separate product reviews, and also convert the numbered scores to stars for the PDF.

6 isn't good, it's just decent. Xenosaga: The Animation for example is decent, not good. It's just a video game cash-in that not all that much effort to faithfully adapt the first game was used.

That show is just under decent, which is why I gave it a 4. 6 is watchable, 4 is going into un-watchable territory.

Started watching Toaru Majutsu no Index out of the blue because i was looking for some dumb fun. Stupid idea. The show has a surprisingly serious feel considering it's dumb looks. You can't judge an anime by it's poster, I should've learned that by now

Despite the somewhat pleasant surprise, it's failing to capture my interest enough for me to ignore my already full serious-show-quota, so I'm probably stalling it for a while. My planed dumb show was KoreZombie, so I'll probably watch that now. That is the only one left on my list, so I need more dumb show recommendations, please :3

Index is good though. It's 72 episodes but I'd say it's worth it. You could do a lot worse.

Hahaha.

Just got done reading your review Andy. Pretty good.

I proofread my review just now...and added summarized pros and cons of the show in point-form underneath the score just to tie it all together. May you guys also do the same..

Also, Laim, starting linking reviews in the OP.
