Off-topic, but lemme just say that there's nothing more fun than refilling a 300-gallon tank, one 5-gallon jug at a time. Making it even more fun is the fact that the 5-gallon jugs needed to be filled with demineralized water at a facility off the ship, so we had to carry the jugs to and from the ship many, many times. The icing on the cake is the reason why we had to refill the 300-gallon tank in the first place: Idiot civilian contractors accidentally drained it. >_<

The light novel is still running, isn't it? The first season was based on it, the second season would be too... there isn't really a reason for it to be any worse.

And Drav, I'm not saying it's a requirement that sequels be bad... I don't know how you came to that conclusion, I'm just saying that when sequels with a small foundation (novel, manga) occur, they tend to make up a ton of irrelevant stuff and fillers to stall for time.

While the show isn't what I wanted it to be I am still going to finish it. Would have been nice if the transfer student was just a regular girl from somewhere that wasn't a different planet. Still seems like it could be sweet even with that dumb element. Remon is an awesome character.

To think that Scott Campbel ended up bein' published by IDW... well, it's still a good house, but I still remember when he started way back then in his Gen-13 days, he was the hottest artist out there. He was the first toi sucessfully "americanize" manga, which back at the time was a pretty big deal. Today it's practically the norm, and comic industry is, agaaaain, stuck.

Nichijou didn't have any real plot... at least haganai had something.
Nichijou's humour is scattered and dumb... Haganai's humour was cute and more understandable to the general audience.
Nichijou's character designs were not outstanding in the slightest... Haganai had a big-chested brat, had lolis (one of which runs around naked), and a cute smarty-pants who was extremely perverted....

If you really know the answer (as you seem to know the japanese otaku as the palm of your hand) why would you ask such a thing? Indeed, Nichijou's humor isn't for everyone, but for some of us, it's awesome. It's the only kind of comedy I can stand in anime, period.

I agree for the most part but she's one of the few that pull it off. You have to watch it and see it for yourself. It's her personality that seals the deal. The wolf attachments are only the icing on the cake.

It wasn't the best, but I've seen other episodes of other shows suck bigger pickles. Episode 2 just kind of explained the organization that fights the enemy. Hopefully from here on out it will be cool like the first episode.
