It's unknown if it for sure will work, hopefully it does, but I've seen cases before where a certain death just made the show go downhill, and it didn't really recover, or was as good before that death (Great case and point is Death Note. Part 2 wasn't as good as part 1, part of it had to do with L being gone.).

Eureka Seven spoilers included.
Though what about with Eureka Seven? Holland was alive the entire show, and Renton greatly matured, and became such a great protagonist in the end. You don't have to kill off a character a certain character looks up to/relies on to make them like Simon (Not saying it's wrong to, I mean it does lead to great things as we all were amazed with how it made the quality of Gurren Lagann go way up.), just pointing it out.

He got a little bit better, but it's not like he was thrust into a position where people depended on him such as Shu or Simon.

I am, I'm just stating how deaths of characters like that can make the show quality go down. I can't give an example off the top of my head aside from Gurren Lagann of a role model dying, and causing the person that admired them to mature more.

Though it's still too early to tell for sure whether or not Gai's death for sure will make the show quality go up or down, we'll have to keep watching and see how it all plays out like we did with Gurren Lagann after Kamina's death.

You're just grabbing at whatever you can, trying to make the point that character deaths can make the show degrade in quality. It's definitely going to help GuilCro though, at least in the character department.

Also I'm trying to prove you wrong? At this point, it's subjective, not objective. It's not objective it'll make the show quality go up or down (Neither one of us is right. Though we both are very opinionated on this, and we'll stand by our opinions.). What we're doing is speculating.

Step 2: Pour it on the disemboweled angel.
Step 3: Take out your camera and take pictures.

Again, L was needed in the show to give Light competition. this constant rally of 2 geniuses is what made the show so good. On the other hand, Gai's death forces Shu to man up because he has no hero to depend upon to save his butt. SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE!

It's just two days and I already miss my anime. I never realized how addicted I am... Not being able to watch GC is really annoying :lol:

OCS (offtopic Canada stuff): I always knew nothern american breakfast was our lunch, but it never sunk in until I had one. How can anyone eat so much in the morning? I just woke up, I'm not this hungry yet...

And no, I can't take the cold. 10 degrees is cold, -30 is... I don't even know what it is :lol:

I used it because I was pointing out how the death of an important character can cause a show to go down in quality. What we were talking about the whole time is the effects of...
Gai's death, and what it will do for the show in the future. While Gai may be a role model, and L being Light's arch enemy (No similarities there.), the two things that these deaths share in common is, an important character dying and causing the show quality to go down (Though in GC's case, nothing has happened yet, so I can't say "go down" for GC yet. The quality hasn't gone up or down because of Gai's death.).

Nah I am talking about blood for Unit-01. Remember in the beginning when Unit-01 got hit and blood was shooting out the front and back of its head? That figure comes with that blood spurt and I want to put it on the figure but I have no clue how it attaches.

I'd rather figure out how the piece attaches to it. It's been bugging me since I bought the damn thing last May :lol:.

I hope I can make as cool as pictures as the one you posted with it. I haven't even played with the Angel carcass yet.

Nah, I'm not expecting reviews to flood in, nor am I expecting people to make writing reviews their top priority.

That being said, if there's little/no contribution over the next few months, I'll probably end up going in a different direction with the project.

Seems Rightstuf is shipping the sets already (They ship as soon as the stuff comes in, Rightstuf is the place to go to get the stuff early.). This doesn't come out until February 7, 2012, the last day Bandai will be putting out any new anime on DVD and BD.

Also wow, never thought I'd see this, the original 2006 Elfen Lied thinpak box set is back in-stock at Rightstuf. It's been sold out for years as it went out of print due to a crappy re-release (By crappy, I mean a stackpak.), and that's out of print now due to another re-release that recently came out (I don't know what packaging, but judging from the thin spine on Amazon I see for the image, it's a case with a double-sided flipper.). They have 7 left.

Some nostalgia right there, one of my relatives has that set. I first saw that set back in like 2007 or 2006, truly a good looking release for one of the most infamous anime released over here. I need to watch it.
 
Now to watch more stuff, first off unfortunately, the latest Shana. If it continues the path 14 had, it'll probably drop to a 4/10, the lowest score I'll ever have given an anime. Also, going to be getting back to Ragnarok: The Animation, though I'm not expecting it to be great. By getting back to that, my on-hold list will be down to 50 entries.

Also, they don't cost a fortune (And I'm talking about the shows that aren't 100+ episodes like Naruto, Bleach, or One Piece.). Our releases don't cost a fortune. Japanese releases yes, our's, 🤬 no.

Haven't been paid yet to order it from Rightstuf. My dad had to use the $50 I got from my aunt for Christmas to pay for gas and pizza. Currently, my parents owe me $220. When I get paid, I'll be getting it. From what my dad is saying, he gets paid on the 1st of February (Though February apparently is "bonus month".). Sigh, last time I got to get any anime with my own money was back in the first week of December.:(All I got was that Code Geass set ($20 gift card I got for Christmas+$10 my dad owes me.) on Monday, and then, that Rosario + Vampire Bundle for Christmas, that's all I've gotten since then.

Shana III 15, I am shocked. The quality actually went up. They actually made me care more about some the characters that you could give two 🤬 about. It's back to a 6/10, but I doubt it'll get back to that 8/10 it started with.
