As of right now, the forum's only got 10 members. All from here, too.

So really it's not that big of a difference from this, only split into threads about specific things... which actually makes it easier, because you don't come back to a thread with 10+ pages of new posts of which only some may concern you. And likewise, I think it makes it less likely that your posts will be "lost". Whenever I'm away from TGAT for a good chunk of time and come back to dozens of pages of new posts, I pretty much never bother to go back and read all that's been said. Dozens of pages of posts lost to me. And there's been many times where I posted something for somebody, but because they didn't come online until my post has been buried in pages of TGAT madness, they never noticed it.

As for why... it's because it's a part of my Anime Recommendation Machine project, where my goal is to create a site to rival the likes of MyAnimeList and Anime-Planet.

Because Lain wanted to be important, so he became a forum.

It will be kind of nice to have for more in depth discussion at times, but bouncing between two forums is kind of meh at times, I agree. Just see how it goes and worst comes to worst the GTP thread isn't going anywhere at this rate. Really, the success of ARM will depend on other users coming in, and I think Lain has intents to have a proper site as well, so might have some validity.

Doesn't change that I can use it as a place to learn some more about net stuff.

5 Centimeters Per Second, WTF is with the ending? This is one of the worst endings I've EVER seen. That ending completely killed that 9/10 possibility that came in for me early on, and up until that ending showed up.

Overall, 8/10.

It's not so much that. I think he hasn't been able to see things from other lenses other than the one he's been using for the past year.

Hell, I used to think Rosario+Vampire was good....TC still thinks it's good, but I think it sucks now that I've seen shows with greater depth, intriguing storylines, less fanservice, better art, etc.
