The first episode had the silly factor notched up a little too high but they dialed it back a bit in episode two.

So far it has failed to really capture my interest. It's another of those series that is 10 episodes too long, it seems. I know I have yet to see the best stuff, but getting there has been quite slow. At least it looks cool.

Last Exile. Started it finally last week, it's fairly good. I suspect it'll be a 9/10 show for me when I'm done as one of my friends on MAL tells me it's really, really good and one of their all-time favorites.

Sorry, didin't see that. Yes I watched Escaflowne from tip to toe, twice. Great stuff. It also has it's lame moments, but you can't mostly go wrong with it... at least from what I remember. I mean that was like... almost 15 years ago. The music, though, is absolutely mind-blowingly epic. The fight scenes were top notch, animation was cool, mecha design was out of this freaking world, the villain is a twisted sombich... maybe the only thing that will make some noyze to you is the famed Escaflowne noses. Everything else is pretty damn cool.

As much as it seems you'll hate Madoka becaquse of how childish it looks, believe us all: you REALLY should watch it. I would have thought the very same upon seeing some images of the show, but I can gladly say that it changed my mind entirely by it being stupid-awesome. Really, if you ever gonn a try to open your mind on one single show, let Madoka be it.
