Just got back from Taiyou-con in Phoenix, GF was a guest there. It ended up being a really good con for its size, anybody who's in the area should check it out.

Jessica Nigri was there, BTW, if she just posted that AC pic above it might've been taken there. That looks like it could be one of the bathrooms in the hotel the con was at.

NGE question .

Rewatched the series again in japanese and after ep 26 there's a movie called End of Evangelion which is basically just two episodes put together.
Is that movie one of the three movies made of was it just something that came later ?

Ok, let's clarify. Episodes 25 and 25 of EVA are made-up stuff or something like that so the show could be shown in TV or some such nonsense. They don't count, for putting it in other words.

The real ending for Evangelion, the one it's director, Hideaki Anno, intended for it, is in the movie called End of Evangelion, which substitutes episodes 25 and 26 in the show's chronological order and shows the real, all-out awesome ending.

The recent movies are called Rebuild and they are precisely that, a rebuild of the original Evangelion series with other characters and added stuff, and a lot of money.

So, you should have done it like this: watched the show's first 24 episodes, then watch the End of Eva movie to see the real ending and have your freaking mind blown away, then watch original 25 and 26 episodes just to satisfy your curiosity, and then watch the movies to see the rebuild of the Evangelion world.

But since you watched episodes 25 and 26 already, drop whatever the hell you're doing now and watch end of Evangelion. You MUST watch it if you really want to truly fathom what EVA is all about.

I actually though the last two episodes of the TV show were alright. It does very well in explaining the characters' attitudes.

It also explains Asuka's "bitchiness". :P

Translation: They don't count. Really, by the time the events of the end of the show transpire, you could care less about the characters.

Watch it. Now.

Crap, speaking of Rebuild, I really need to hurry up and watch the second movie since I'm probably seeing the third one in San Fran this weekend.

Sailing the high seas of the Internet while wearing Asuka's eyepatch?

Goodness. I'm going to try and get one drawing done tomorrow.

I'm late by 12 minutes! Took 2 hours, spent another 30 minutes adding colour on photoshop.

Colour added for the hell of it.

Screencaps or it didn't happen. :P

Seriously though, I think Eva 3.0 will be one of those movie which you must watch to fully understand.

Just curious, do any of you know how long it can take for an episode to be subbed well?
If you go through legal sources, the simulcasts, you can expect to see the episode within a week of the Japanese broadcast, usually within an hour of the Japanese broadcast.

Currently Watching -> Baka and Test ep.3

Just Watched -> Rayearth ep.7, Ikki Tousen ep.10, Initial D 5th ep.4.

-> I really want to try to draw something, but unfortunately my hand seems not to cooperate w/ me... :indiff:
