Victorique. Guys remember her?

If Good Smile does the black goth loli dress, it will likely sit in the top 100 most sought-after figurines. It's just that wonderful.

I don't remember her.

ONLY KIDDING OF COURSE. Only my top anime girl ever. If you have any more info/figurines of her, SHOW ME. I might want to buy one.

Yes.. even though i havent seen the show yet, I didnt know she was that popular saying its top 100
material.

She's not. It's just more of a statement in saying how fantastic the figurine would be.

LOL Sentai...

I like when companies try to make something seem like a fanservice heavy show when it's not, thus fooling the consumer. Anyone expecting lots of fanservice from Divergence Eve will be sorely disappointed. In fact, they'll wonder why that cover resembles only the stuff in the ED theme, and why the actual show doesn't have much fanservice, and why the show can be confusing as all hell.

English subs on the Steins;Gate movie, nice. Might just import that (Or wait and see if FUNi does an import, ala Gits:Arise-hopefully without a month delay.....), but this makes things difficult as all hell...

I speak of the figurine, not the show.

She's not out yet. She is up for pre orders at the moment... I think.

Better save up because she's going to cost more than Tenshi did.

Hei
Oh gawd. If she is pouting, I'm sold.

Sure you are, Mr. Hasn't-bought-my-gundams. :P Here's one you can instantly be sold on:

I've just thought of someone describing Eva 3.0 as fanservice-heavy. I'm going to a Tang-flavoured Hell.

how about I rustle jimmies and say

Gundam > EVA

You're not really rustling jimmies. Jimmies are rustled when the subject matter is of something cute/erotic. If anything, you're just trying to start a flame war with that comment.

The figure is pretty, and I love some parts of it, but this is not the Victorique figure for me. One day there will be one, but it is not this day.

I like a lot about it - from an art perspective rather than being a fan of the character, but I have to agree in that it's still not something I'd want to own.

Something godlike will eventually come by one day. We just need to wait for a talented sculptor to outdo him/herself with an incredible amount of patience.

The facial features match an adult than a child. That's the one big gripe people got with it.

It doesn't have to capture any cliche tsundere expression. At the point where she wears that pink coat in the show, she's become more mature so it's seems pretty acceptable to me.

You're late to the party, I already preordered from Amazon Japan the same day it was announced.
Not really. Known for a while, just didn't post until now. Too focused on tweeting these days.

I don't want anything childish or tsundereish, unless they make it far too adorable to resist.

Nah, my only problem with that figure is the fact it doesn't feel too elegant enough. I want something dekkai elegant and beautiful for Victorique. Maybe a more slimming outfit of hers, less puffed up by wind.

Got my Madoka movie BDs in the mail. The package is amazing, I kinda wish the domestic release was this nice. Makes me seriously consider the TTGL sets.

As if this doesn't already make you seriously consider it.

It's so beautiful I could cry.:(

Speaking of nice, I got the Patlabor movie LE's recently (Which Bandai Visual USA really overprinted-10,000 of each). Storyboard booklets, loaded with video extras, and the production booklets, these sets are just amazing. Shame I didn't care too much for the movies (I may at a later point in time. Might have been too soon to try Patlabor in movie form.).

I didn't realize how huge the BD set is, I thought it was going to be the same form factor as the DVD set. Not that I'm complaining, It's $500 and that is premium packaging right there.

Knowing how it's an Aniplex Japan release, it shouldn't be surprising. The Gurren Lagann BD is released in the exact same fashion as The Garden of Sinners Blu-ray Box from nearly two and a half years ago.

So after getting rehooked on From Software's Dark Souls, I decided I needed some Dark Fantasy anime to sooth my itch during work hours (on that midnight shift again ><).

Wonderfully, I was able to get those new Berserk films. So far, so good.

Finished the first Madoka movie. Nothing new yet. Still waiting on the second to hit the web and going to watch the second one tonight.

You're going to be waiting for subs for quite a while. The BD won't be out until possibly this time next year going by how the recap movies opened in very few Japanese theaters last October, and are only now coming out on Blu-ray.

Forgot to post this, but the newer Answerman columns on ANN are going to be interesting. Justin Sevaki's first Answerman column went up on Friday. He's a guy who really knows his stuff, so if you're at all interested in how things work for anime, check out the columns every Friday.

At least it's not Pokemon style milking it. It's been stated a long time ago that another TV series was considered.

Well yeah, especially as unlike Pokemon, Madoka isn't episodic. It's far easier to milk something that's episodic.
