Just watched Otaku no Video. It's just amazing how relevant this OVA is 20+ years after it was made.

Also nice, it went a bit into the "Japanimation" boom in America, and even in the "Portrait of an Otaku" segments, one of them was on what we'd call today a weeaboo.

The Madoka movies arent supposed to be a retelling of the series is it ? because the one i'm watching now is..
Just looked it up nevermind they wherent what i was expecting.

Daigo Umehara Manga?!?! LETS GO!

That is awesome. Source?

And just started reading BERSERK for the first time. Incredibly epic. Started reading a few days ago, currently on Volume 31, I believe. I am so hooked.

My interest in finally reading this was sparked by my recent ADDICTION to Dark Souls.

Boys like Sailor Moon because the women are pretty. Simple as that. Everyone who frequents this thread won't disagree. New shows need to step up their game if they want to stand a chance against magical girls this winter.

I kind of wish I would have waited until Attack On Titan had finished before I started watching it. I hate having to wait a week for the next episode.

Great episode indeed, but as I imagined, the anime's going to miss out on even more juicy stuff once it's over. :P

I get what you mean, but I was 5 at the time. What could I possibly know at that age?!!
I just sort of see Sailor Moon as a girlie show all this time, but what is gender specific nowadays, right?
Anyway, can't wait to rediscover my long forgotten love of Sailor Moon. :D
LOL! I want that so bad.

The food or the utensils?

Lilith's many tiny legs must be a pain in the ass to wash, I imagine. :scared:

Not really, they'd be insane not to animate more of it.

The disc sales are a huge success (Volume 1 did 56,793 in week one), the merchandise is successful, and not to mention the manga sales have gotten boosts that are around what the FMA anime did for FMA.
Fullmetal Alchemist 1st Season:
Before: 150,000
After: 1,500,000

We're probably going to see this whole thing animated, with seasons past this one not suffering as much from production issues (They're short on animators).

AoT may just get a direct sequel.

Also, I just finished the second Madoka movie. Those last 16 minutes of film #2 is what I sat through the whole thing for. I. Am. Stoked.

Finally got around to watching the first episode of SAO, and it is awesome.

It gets really bad though.

Well, I didn't see the Lance of Longinus

Best. Fork. Ever.

Also, I'm sooo behind on AoT, I'll catch up eveenttuaallyy, before it ends. It's exciting, but the story leaves something to be desired, and there's a lot of yelling.

With DtB done and the short number of ongoings to watch, I resumed Ghost in the Shell SAC. Nice to flip back and forth from new and older shows.

Here's something badass to share:

The artist's name is Muju. I love how he/she did the face and it wasn't by luck either. Here's an earlier work displaying a clear sense of anatomy and form: http://www.zerochan.net/1563444
