Just watched Otaku no Video. It's just amazing how relevant this OVA is 20+ years after it was made.

Also nice, it went a bit into the "Japanimation" boom in America, and even in the "Portrait of an Otaku" segments, one of them was on what we'd call today a weeaboo.

Not really a fan but I can't say I'm not excited. I remember watching Sailor Moon when I was like 5 or something. And I remember I liked it.

It looks kind of derpy. And in my opinion it doesn't look anything like Miku.

I just sort of see Sailor Moon as a girlie show all this time, but what is gender specific nowadays, right?

Great episode indeed, but as I imagined, the anime's going to miss out on even more juicy stuff once it's over.

Not really, they'd be insane not to animate more of it.

The disc sales are a huge success (Volume 1 did 56,793 in week one), the merchandise is successful, and not to mention the manga sales have gotten boosts that are around what the FMA anime did for FMA.

We're probably going to see this whole thing animated, with seasons past this one not suffering as much from production issues (They're short on animators).

Also, I just finished the second Madoka movie. Those last 16 minutes of film #2 is what I sat through the whole thing for. I. Am. Stoked.
