Something to note in case people didn't read this part.
Watanabe said the anime was "not an anime to be taken seriously." It will be the first comedic TV anime series that he will direct.
So nobody should go in expecting a Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, or Kids on the Slope.

Really hoping it turns out to be good. This was the last good thing BONES ever did.

Wait until Mid October. It's still on Episode 18. How is it? Super good, but you're better off reading the manga... because those who are doing this anime-only are going to be devastated by episode 25.

I'll just leave this here then:

Sie sind das Essen, wir sind die Jaeger(meister)! ;)

Speaking of AoT, I'm up to Ep. 18 now.
What would that female Titan's bra size be?

^ Not me, never watched it yet...

AoT may be overrated, but I really really love the meme content.

So, I played 7 hours of Persona 3 FES at my friend's house. Y'know what this means? Time to order 3&4 'cause I'm addicted. It's sooo gooood.

My girlfriend got me into Anime... Started with Full Metal Alchemist, then Soul Eater...

Now I've started Sword Art Online! Looks really good so far!

Your girlfriend is awesome, but should try to look for synopsizes you personally are interested in rather than following the most popular shows.. because the masses of anime fans got some subpar standards. Watch JoJo Bizarre Adventures 2012...or Gurren Lagann. I think those two sorts of shows will be up your alley.

The external parody content is great. Loved a lot of the content people have been making.

A live action film would sell like hot cakes. It can suck big time but people will be all over it anyway.

It starts off really strongly but devolves A LOT.

I think it'd be pretty hard to get wrong if they threw enough money at it. The show's concept is simple and the execution is extremely dramatic, sounds perfect for a live-action CG-fest.

It's going to need the funding levels similar to Transformers or perhaps Pacific Rim. A cheaper route is to make a comedy.... or a b-movie that's so bad it's funny... like having half-pint soldiers fight basketball players dressed up as titans.

^ Don't forget the classics also.

Watched Black Lagoon again...fun fact: only Revy reloads her guns. Which, really, speaks to the show as a whole. One of those facts that really defines the show; where, if you were to sum up the show to someone, you'd mention that. That and the many many times the f word is said. I'll have to get Roberta's Blood Trail eventually.

I also noticed that, if you pay attention to Eda...you can tell she's CIA.

It happened, I finally started Elfen Lied after all this time (Along with FMP! last week). Decent so far after the first four episodes.
