Speaking of Black Lagoon, I've tried making Revy in SR3. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find her hairstyle.

It happened, I finally started Elfen Lied after all this time (Along with FMP! last week). Decent so far after the first four episodes.

I've started Elfen Liwed two times, and have stopped watching it both times due to hardware reasons ):

FMP? Full metal panic ?

Got bored on Netflix and saw two shows they added and started watching them ,

Bubblegum crisis 2040
Its ok sofar ill probably give it a 7.

And Moonphase id describe as delightfully moe in a way that suits me for some reason usually im not that drawn to moe maybe its the supernatural element that's thrown in or just the vamp girl that wears neko mimi :D
Its cool though that both the mane characters are voiced b Senjougahara and Araragi's VA
But both are in Japanese which is a cool feature to see on Netflix.

Fun fact about those two voice actors:

Both Satou Chiwa and Kamiya Hiroshi did the voice of the Ichinomiya Kou (Arakawa Under the Bridge), one for the flashback scenes of when he was a little boy, and one for the present-time adult Kou.

Women voicing little boys is not unusual but the ironic bit is that both VAs seem to work under the same series quite a bit let alone same character.

Michiko to Hatchin.

Thanks! And somehow I stumbled upon a pic from Space Battleship Yamato, the style looks similar to Interstella 5555. :dunce:

Gonna be a busy weekend ahead.

EDIT: Hmm, after some searching, Leiji Matsumoto huh? I still have much to learn/watch. 80's style is so cool! :D

Most of Matsumoto's works are space operas. Harlock, Yamato, Queen Emeraldas, Queen Milenia and Galaxy Express 999 all take place in the same universe, and are absolute blasts to watch because even iof they are pretty old and look so (and feel so, too; I recently got Queen Milenia, which is 31 years old), they still tell great touching stories. I'm a consumated Matsumoto fan. Whatever you need, ask.

That's like Jamie Marchi and Monical Rial for American voice actors. They even played partners in two different series. Or Mary Elizabeth McGlynn and Atsuko Tanaka voicing the several of the same characters. Stuff like that is rare, but it does happen every once and a while. In the case of Monica and Jamie it's probably a simple matter of them working very well together.

De Toro is building up a rep since he is taking on "Monster" . I just hope he get the series down really good.

It's unknown if he'll actually try to do a live-action Madoka. Still one obstacle would be how on earth would he get people to come to it? Those that don't know of anime or Madoka think this looks like a cute little girl's cartoon when we all know that's ridiculously far from the truth.

I mean Pacific Rim struggled to work here because the general public viewed it as a terrible live-action Transformers rip-off with Godzilla before it opened.

And Pacific Rim isn't even anime (But feels much like a mecha anime).

One of the main complaints leveled against the otherwise well-regarded Guillermo del Toro is that his reach often outstrips his grasp. Constantly announcing new projects, del Toro has a habit of watching promising properties slip through his fingers (though often through no fault of his own).

We can only hope that his most recently announced project doesn’t share the same fate as At the Mountains of Madness. Reports indicate that del Toro will work with HBO to develop a live-action series adaptation of the celebrated Japanese manga Monster, by Naoki Urasawa.

Madoka might be a little early. I wouldn't gamble on getting the fans outside of Japan to come to the theater because half of them probably won't even show up for it. Monster's easier to like in western media/entertainment Attack on Titans would suck kids in really easily but it contains a heap of gore mothers may object to.

I would love to see a live action adaptation of Deadman Wonderland. That if they do like 3 films that will cover all of the important bits of the entire manga... if that's even possible.

You know what? I was reading up that drama about Noel Brown (yeah that FG dude) being filed charges of assault, which then lead to the short topic about Sherry, and then there was that one link to a tinypic of her and some other competing girl cosplaying as Bison and based off the photo, she looked pretty damn cute.
