Pokemon The Origins - October 2nd
I am an Anime noob XD (I only watched Code Geass, Darker than Black, Death Note, Gantz and Phantom: Requiem).
But I am a big fan of Pokemon games. I so excited to finally see Red in Anime instead of Ash.
I will watch this for sure.

Hey now! Highschool of the Dead is not complete garbage.
It makes fun of Fanservice when it does use fanservice and it absolutely loves gun play. True, it's not for everyone but it's not garbage. I'd think people could make many complaints about some other anime out there regarding fanservice and have it be even more insulting because of how in appropriate it can be ( :cough: Elfen Lied :cough:

I wouldn't watch HSOTD as a serious anime but it's definitely fun as a mature carefree watch. Especially if you're a fan of the zombie and guns genres. 👍

They valued boobs over violence, which really bogged everything down since the animation was so slick.
Also, restarting Pokemon?! WITH RED? AND HE HAS ONE OF THE ORIGINAL STARTERS? This is going to be awesome. At least, I hope it'll be.

While too much fanservice was a problem for HOTD, it also had a really, really, really bad storyline, one of the worst I've seen in anime. That's one of the things that really also dragged it down. I do give it credit for offering some character development. It's why it gets a 4/10 from me rather than that initial 2/10 it had in the beginning. My overall score is still higher than my enjoyment score though.
It's just a one episode special.

Also, I now understand the massive merchandising of Evangelion. I just discovered the franchise about a month ago and now I'm going broke.
I don't know, it's like a curse. I've had urges when Samurai Champloo figures came out, I've always wanted an Azusa Nakano Nendoroid, but wasn't ready to spend on it. And now Evangelion is sucking all the money out of me.

Somehow, the only Evangelion products I've ever purchased were 1.11 and 2.22 on DVD, which cost me all of 13 euros. That may be something to do with my best friend having already being an addict first though...
Also, haven't you noticed that there is nearly always an unusually high number of guests viewing this thread? I have guesses as to why...

Finally manage to finish Guilty Crown. The first part was meh but the second part, alot of emotions I felt. I like how it end though . (◎_◎
I particularly didn't like the ending, but I'll have to accept it. And what do you mean "parts"? Before and after midway of the show?

It was the same for me too. I would love a fairytale happy ending but an ending like that can do too.

The ending was terrible. Not because it wasn't happy, but because it made little sense and was filled with Deus Ex Machinas.

Yeah, I felt the same way. In fact, it was a bit rush-y for me on the last few ep's. The animation was top-notch though.
