Serial Experiments Lain is one of the best shows to rewatch, preferably all in one go starting at midnight and ending at about five o'clock in the morning. By yourself. On a hot summer's night.

Awesome soundtrack, stunning minimalist visuals, and an incredible atmosphere are the things that show... Well, that and a plot which is incredibly hard to follow, yet alone make sense of.

There are no brakes on the Kill la Kill hype train.

Dude don't do that. Please.

Jumping on this, Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex (both gigs), FLCL, Escaflowne, Evangelion, Noir, Boogiepop Phantom, and a pretty unknown one, Najica, which has some bad-ass jazz tunes.

Persona 4 has the upbeat Jazz.

There is not a single soundtrack in this earth that won't bow down to Bebop's.

As far as anime and animated movies/shows... Yes, Bebop was the be-all and end-all of soundtracks.

Then again, what about Bebop in general wasn't nearly perfect?
CB is easily my favorite anime ever made.

All anime soundtrack's still have to bow down to The Blues Brothers though, as do all other soundtracks.

Yes, Bebop +1 best anime soundtrack... though Samurai Champloo is pretty damn close (and the only anime I've actually heard on the radio!)

But for other soundtracks, I love both Blade Runner and Conan the Barbarian, actually (Vangelis and Basil Poledouris.)

Can we all just agree that 'best soundtrack' is just a matter of taste and opinion Samurai Champloo has one of the best soundtracks of all time?

We can absolutely agree on that. Hell coincidentially, I'm rocking "Trascendence" as I type this. Champloo's tunes rox teh sox.

But Cowboy Bebop still has the best soundtrak ever crafted for an anime. By miiiiiiles.

^Should I watch that? I've watched Blood: The Last Vampire, the anime movie I'm talking about here not the live action even though I've watched both, and it was enjoyable. I especially love how it starts.

Yes, you should watch. Blood + is a good anime, the main charcters in my opinion are interesting, and the story is also quite good.

Randomly, I always thought that they are connected.
Blood+ was inspired by the 2000 anime film Blood: The Last Vampire; however, there are only a few allusions and basic elements from the film. Fujisaku has been involved with both works, including acting as the director for Blood+ and writing the novelization of Blood: The Last Vampire.

-> Just did a Kill la Kill marathon (although it only had 3 episodes at the moment), it was a very engaging series! Better exceuted compared to Gurren Laggan. Maybe because the story is a bit faster (too fast) paced, I think...

:boggled:

EVA-02's face actually seems like a good design for the front of a bike...if you take away its massive chin, of course.

Nujabes's tracks are the best 👍 R.I.P

Yes, music of peace. 👍

Random question, can anyone list all the female anime characters with long black hair which you know of?

I'll start,
1. Mio
2. Homura
3. ?????

I need to prove/disprove something.

I can think of Rei Hino from Sailor Moon and Kagome from Inuyasha.
