Cartoon Network haven't shown Cowboy Bebop in Europe in over a decade, and it's only just being released on DVD now. I'm going to wait until it halves in price after christmas and buy it then.

Also, is Madoka Magica worth watching? Everyone raves about it, but I honestly have no idea what it even is except for the fact it's made by SHAFT and I'm always put off SHAFT's stuff by the excessive use of creepy fanservice.

Do get Bebop in due time, you're missing out on the greatest anime of all time.

Also, yes Madoka is very very worth the watch, zero fanservice, don't worry, and the show wraps itself up beautifully, a truly truly good show, and take a look at who's telling you this.

I remember once going for ten months straight not finding a single English dub that I liked before finding two in one day...

There are two English dubs in my (admittedly brief) anime life that I've liked ; Persona 4: The Animation's (because I was used to the English VAs from the game) and Haruhi's.

Ghost in the Shell and Black Lagoon. As good as dubs get. Better than Haruhi and Persona.

The character the voice actors create for it is just....

Your Fighting Anime News:
Some of you may remember Sega announcing a brand new fighting game at Tokyo Game Show 2013 last month. Titled Dengeki Bunko FIGHTING CLIMAX, this crossover fighter features characters from properties published by ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Bunko light novel imprint. While the original announcement only included two characters (Shakugan no Shana’s eponymous main character and Asuna from Sword Art Online), Dengeki Online recently revealed two more fighters who will be joining the fray.

Mikoto Misaka, one of the main heroines from A Certain Magical Index, and Kirino Kosaka, the female lead of Ore no Imoto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai (colloquially known as Oreimo), are set to expand the playable cast with their own unique fighting styles. While the former is a powerful esper that is capable of controlling electricity in her series, the latter has been pulled from a more comedic work, which should lead to an interesting and unconventional moveset.

You'll be able to tell makers of Fighting Climax haven't diversified their spectrum if they don't include some of the more obvious fighters from shows that aren't extremely popularized by the moe fanbase like Revy (Black Lagoon) or Rena (Higurashi). Both these characters are literally monsters in combat.

And maybe Shion from Higurashi as well. She's insane. I'd post videos of the two, but it is probably waay too graphic.

The SRK commenters are saying its illogical to put any other characters from different series into their fighting game. but....speaking of this series..

Probably? :dunce:

I don't know, some people can handle it, some can't. I'd like to decide for myself, but no one agrees with my decisions.

Because Dengeki

Oh. Dengeki can go get crabs then.

Wait, it's collab project involving ASCII Media Works. That makes more sense.

If that's the case, the roster is going to be small, isn't it? I mean, aside from mangas and LNs that never got made into anime, this is how little characters they can pull from: http://myanimelist.net/anime.php?p=681

Small ain't a bad thing speaking strictly from a gaming fundamental standpoint, but marketing it would be killer if more characters would be added even if it was outside their company's property. Similar to how Solid Snake made his way into Nintendo's SSBB.

edjt edjt: it actually is dinky. Only 4 playable characters (and 4 assists) so far

There always is Mugen for our anime fantasies.
A small cast is always good.Less to remember and more time to focus on fundamentals of the game than the worrying about character match ups. Though having other companies come in would just create more "What-ifs" situations (SFxMK,TvVF,SCvsLB,SnK 3). Now we have Capcom joining in on SSB with Megaman and the "skins" for SSBB like Guile, Dr. Mario, etc etc

So I watched ep. 1 of Eva last night before my 'net decided that it hated the rain (satellite) . Its really easy to tell that its 90's era (just by the animation style) but I like it so far.

And to Vanishing Boy, go watch Kill la Kill, its really entertaining.

Satellite internet? I'd hate to be stuck with that.

Unsurprisingly Watamote has bombed on disc in Japan, we'll probably get numbers Thursday, but it's currently failed to rank. Unless the manga got enough of a sales increase, it's done.

(Also dat sales increase for Symphogear, won't be surprised at all to see a season 3 happen. Seeing an anime increase in sales that much from one season to another is quite the rarity. S1 V1 averaged 5,000.)

BTW, something interesting about Watamote's manga...

While watching Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig.
A character by the name of Hideo Kuze reminded me of someone else for some reason.

Then I relized why as my username clued me into it.
