In in real life. Baka.....

I called a friend a baka once. He looked at me weird. I never said the word aloud ever again.
I still call my friend a baka once in awhile. If it is online through any social media, its b4k4.

Okay. I'm somewhat close to being done Bleach. I'm also a tad over halfway Kill La Kill. Anything else I should watch? Oh, and if you suggest Naruto, I'll cut you.

I generally only use Japanese phrases when quoting specific shows, or when quoting Filthy Frank.

... Or when singing J-pop, and sometimes just randomly anyway, but only amongst friends who I know are "in on it".

Yeah, I'm kind of a weeb. :X

Finished Garden of Words the other day. And wow, those visuals. Disappointed by the story though, but I'm squeamish about it anyways
Finished Shingeki no Bahamut too. Very nice fantasy show. Can't help but compare the story to Skyrim: Bahamut=Alduin the World-Eater, holy knight=Dragonborn, allies=the Blades, Amira=the Elder Scrolls...

To watch Garden of Words for a plot is not the best investment of time one can make. But it is very much eye-candy. 10/10 on that scale, but definitely under 9/10 for an overall score.

Also, I waited 3 years for this thing to get painted:

Took the artist 3 years to get back on this prototype. I'd like my own post if I could.

Just found the dates for the two Grisaia sequels coming this month, April 13th for Meikyuu, which will be an hour long movie/special/thing, and April 20th for Rakuen which will be a series.

I'm excited for them. I enjoyed Kajitsu as I didn't have a VN to base the adaptation off, but I feel it deserves more credit than what it receives.

Well this 1 week holiday has been fun in terms of anime, down to business.

Right, so I managed to finish The Garden of Sinners earlier this week. I have to say that it's lingering between the line of (In my books) really good watch and one of the best. I like the way it ended, the animation was great, I understood most of what went on and the soundtrack really pumps (Had to put down the volume a few times)

However, some things bothered me a bit and I had some questions:

  1. How on God's green Earth did Shiki actually lose her arm? Am I missing something here?
  2. I get that Touko is a magus, she deals with physical bodies and the latter, but that puppet with red eyes that had a strange resemblance to Shiki, what was the point of it?
  3. Fujino I rate could have been fleshed out more after her episode, especially since she was saved. Especially since she shares a Supernatural power like Shiki.
  4. The 2 Shikis, or rather the 3 personalities. Wouldn't it have made better sense if there was some sort of physical manifestation used to explain them? Like seeing the personalities visually in a conflict? I know the epilogue cleared some things up but it confused me a bit. Like at times I didn't see which personality was dominant at a particular scene and did the male Shiki actually die inside of Shiki?
  5. So Shiki actually isn't a murderer but she perceives herself to be one? All those murders that took place was because of that Rio dude I believe?
  6. In the movie with the fairies, that other magus who showed up, was the point of him just to remind Shiki of past and the memory from Oblivion? What was that memory anyway?
Yeah I'm done, confused me a bit no?

In other news, I started Nisekoi the other night and I'm loving it so far:tup:. I really enjoy the intro song Click - ClariS, definitely going into the music library! :dopey: I'm also ecstatic about the 2nd Season coming soon!

Ahh, Nisekoi... It might be full of harem clichés, but it's still truly worthwhile and in my opinion, it is a show that definitely needs more love. It has such a good mix of funny scenes and heartwarming moments that makes it a compelling series to watch. Kosaki is my personal favorite in the harem, with Chitoge in second and Marika in third. My favorite character overall, however, is Shuu. Plus, I just plain love the art style used in this show. I give this series an 8/10.

But... Is it me or is this song a perfect fit for Nisekoi? The fact that this song is mega-popular here in Italy might help it become the ad song if they ever dub Nisekoi in Italian, which I well hope they do, especially given the fact that the original manga has been localized in Italian and I'm planning to buy all volumes.

My mate kept nagging me to watch it so I took the dive. I like the overall lightheartedness of the show and yes it has some funny and heartwarming scenes . It's a really nice and refreshing watch for me. Plus the Animation is amazing and the soundtrack is great.
My plans for the day ended up getting cancelled so..... Well I don't need to explain :D I'm nearly done with the series. I think you like Shu because he resembles Issei:lol:

I think this try at an English Opening by TYER Records really hit home, plus it's free to download!

Did you check the Type-Moon wiki first? I think most of what they have there it'll be able to answer.

I know that track. Hear it often in the radio here. Quite fits with the show.

W-Wait... Really? If so, Saint Motel must be quite popular not only in the "Boot" (that's a nickname for Italy, if you want to know. Why the boot, you ask? Well, just look at a map of Italy).

And while we're at it, I have an idea for a quick game (I know some of you might not want to play, but whatever): one must name an anime, and the next person must reply with a song (s)he thinks might fit with said show. ;)

EDIT: New rule added to the game: the one who suggests the anime can also add a song (s)he thinks would fit with said show. For example, if one person suggests show X, he can also add a song (s)he thinks might fit with show X. :)

*I'm not gonna touch that show....

It's not in the charts but some alt rock stations play it

Do you mean this one?

No idea about this show

Bingo

I like some of the songs by ClariS. They also did the opening to Madoka and Oreimo.

Connect was the first song I listened to, but I got bored of that one pretty quick. Irony stuck, and it still sticks.

I haven't dove much further with their other singles, but Nexus works for me.

Sounds the same all the time, but that's pop songs for you, and I do like a simple pop beat.

I don't find English to be a terrible language for singing. Cantonese is a language that's not so great for singing (overall).
