Apparently watching Initial D dubbed is like eating dry chicken with Tobasco and no water at hand.

Unless if you enjoy Dry chicken.

Gyakkyou Burai Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor

@JrDarknes

*insert generic "Watch Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, Madoka Magica, Akira, Steins;Gate, Redline, Mamoru Hosoda's stuff, Satoshi Kon's stuff, Terror in Resonance, some other thing I probably forgot, and all the Studio Ghibli stuff and then forget anime ever existed" comment here*

Death Parade had a pretty decent dub for me.

One Punch Man is crazy.

Shinsekai Yori if you enjoy scratching your head then having eureka moments.

In terms of other shows, Roger had that handled.

Michiko to Hatchin was cool but I felt it didn't make sense in a lotbof instances.

Appreciate it guys, will defiantly be checking these out. I've watched akira and cowboy bebop. Defiantly classics.

Initial D seeing as you're a fan of those sorts of cars, though I'd not recommend but enforce that you watch with subs as dubbed is shocking.

I've already watched initial D in dubbed haha. Defiantly loved it. I actually made an amv with the new movie a while back with the Eurobeat.

Which dub are you talking about, the TokyoPop or Funimation? I say the TokyoPop one is WORSE.

Finished One Punch
Any recommended shows I should watch? I personally prefer dub but can watch sub.

Just asking because I haven't really watched anime in years until toonami came back. Every since they came back Ive been looking for more shows.

Attack on Titan was a really great show for me and kill la kill also. Haven't finished parasyte yet. My personal favorite from what they have shown is michiko to hatchin.

If you liked Kill la Kill, you'll love Bokurano.

One Punch Man might not be up your alley, but it's worth checking out if you want something a bit darker and more serious.

Other timeless classics you can't miss: K-ON, Boku no Pico, Pupa and Clannad (skip the second season though, because that one actually tries to be good... Yuk!)

What are they defying by being classics? The animation age ghetto, I guess?

For akira yea, that can be one thing. I've never seen an anime movie like it at the time. I've always thought it was pretty unique.

Cowboy Bepop is always mentioned if I ever asked someone around my age what they used to watch when they were younger. So I've just always considered it a classic.

Have you watched Samurai Champloo? It's made by the same guy who did Bebop.

I'd recommend Wangan Midnight and then reading Over Rev!, the latter blows Initial D out of the water.

And Wangan Midnight too. I think I mentioned here beforehand that I gave up on it after 10-15 episodes and skipped straight to the finale.

I think Bebop's OST has more flavour than Champloo's. Though obviously Champloo will win you over if bass is what predominantly catches your attention.

May I ask, where does that BONES footage come from? I have watched two shows from them so far (FullMetal Alchemist and HEROMAN, mainly), but that footage looks even better than both of them combined...
Kyoto's own footage is not half bad either, dat moving source of light.

So we've reached 2100 pages.

If that were a year, it would be a year where the One Piece would finally have been found, Evangelion 4.0 would have released, Monogatari series would have wrapped up, the high school setting ceases.

Can anyone predict the future?

No, but we can propose fantasy futures.

We'll have anime that is no longer 2D, not projected on a screen and not broadcasted on a schedule. Instead, you stick a cord into the back of your neck and "plug into" the content. It goes beyond attaching closed-binoculars that is Virtual Reality and is as deep as the internet today.

Cords? Nah, we'll be using Wi-Fi adapters by then.

Pendulum - "Midnight Runner"
HEALTH - "Stonefist"
Miike Snow - "Heart is Full"
Royal Blood - "Figure It Out"
Fred V & Grafix - "Vanishing Point"
The Chemical Brothers - "Sometimes I Feel So Deserted"
Disclosure - "You & Me (Flume Remix)"

These are my top choices.
Nice choices. Now I suppose is the time for my choices:

Overseer - "Doomsday"
Styles Of Beyond - "Subculture (Dieselboy + Kaos VIP Remix)"
Royal Republic - "21st Century Gentleman"
Ed Rush & Optical - "Falling Down Stairs"
Story of the Year - "And the Hero Will Drown"
Knife Party - "Boss Mode"
Ciscandra Nostalghia - "Who You Talkin' To Man"
Paul Oakenfold & Amoebassassin - "Get Out Of My Life Now"

And this is what happens when you suggest to an artist a quick sketch of Ryuko in School Uniform with Puma Suede high tops rocking a Buster Sword with a Mako keychain.

Drawing needs to return to this thread.

Maybe monthly sketches due to time constraints?
