How much they set you back? Anime figures are usually so expensive and well over what I can afford, sadly. I was looking at some black rock shooter figures a few months ago and all the ones that looked cool were well over £100

Hell, back in the 80's I had Transformers that cost over $100... had, because my dad confiscated them when I went to college (since he had in fact bought them for me, so it's fair.) Let's see, I remember Dinobots and Insecticons, one that played cassette tapes, Trypticon, a walking battery powered T-rex which turns into a city:

and many more... looking back, most of them were from the first 3 years of transformers, 84-86, which would have put me at 9-11 years of age.

The 00/0-Raiser being Perfect Grade set me back about 270-something, the Exia and Stamen set me back about 120-130, combined.

I don't even want to think about how much I've spent on all the models, paints, knives, etc.

WORTH EVERY PENNY... I know of crappily-crafted figures that are at least 20% more expensive... The BRS franchise isn't popular thus, we get super badass quality figures at a low price... 👍

PVC figures in general do look ugly, but the pics I posted while I was having a discourse on Figurine Standards are stuff I've never seen before, thus reconsidering that broad statement..... I'd totally get BRS figures and that one gorgeous Miku figure.

I wouldn't exactly call the ones who pilot the EVAs women though lol. However I'm sure an EVA could 🤬 up a Gundam. But only if it wanted to.
