OT -> Well heading to L.A. again and wish me luck of getting this car:

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but better looking than Asuka and Rei put together? Sure Mari has glasses but I think both Asuka and Rei look better than her on their own!

Agreed. Mari's attractive, and the glasses are nice, but she's not exactly worlds apart from the other Eva girls. She's on par with them, at best.

I finally finished Wangan Midnight the other day! Not bad. Some pretty bad moments of writing, but that's not what I'm watching it for I was expecting some kind of plot though, it just seemed to be a bunch of short stories by the second half onwards. Though it did end with the 3 most awesome cars in their ultimate forms, I was pretty disappointed how lack lustre the RX-7 sounded... Needed more of that rotary scream!
I'd ask what to watch next, but I have a pretty good idea of what it should be, it's well overdue

Today's Gundam is the SYSTEM ∀-99 (WD-M01) ∀ Gundam, or simply put -- Turn A Gundam. A Gundam that's powered by a artificial black hole (it's entire chest cavity is practically hollowed, save for the missiles that are stored in the chest and whatever else can be stored, livestock for example). Nanomachines that can completely regenerate itself and the pilot, although not at the same time if I remember correctly. The Turn A was originally meant for interstellar warfare (sit on that for a moment; inter. stellar. war. fare.), can teleport at will, can warp beam shots directly into an enemies suit cockpit through unknown/unexplained means (which basically means they didn't even try to make up something for it which means you either accept it, or you accept it. There is no alternative). Was manufactured by an unknown human race, which if I'm to be honest, I don't buy whatsoever.
The Turn A's ultra-mega-awesome attack, the Moonlight Butterfly, which simply put is capable of setting you back into the Dark Ages. It did so to Earth and I believe Jupiter as well (by turning all of technology into sand) with only 5% of it's power. Can you say "OMG! WTF kind of hax is this?"
(There's some other stuff about Moonlight Butterfly that I can't remember at the moment as well).
No, you can't defeat it so don't even try. There are only a few Gundams that can actually challenge it, the only one whom I can think that has a higher possibility of actually ripping it apart is the Devil Gundam, and that's only if it's in Colony Mode.
