There'd probably be a lot of dodging and running away involved, but eventually he'd come out on top. So long as Jet Black was there to back him up. And Ed, Ein, and Faye wouldn't hurt either.

I hated Inuyasha too.

Well, I shouldn't say "too" as that would imply I hated Cowboy Bebop and that just isn't true, I just couldn't get into it.

Give it another try, you may be more sophisticated now and may find some way to appreciate it. No, no giant fighting robots, but some pretty cool personal fighter space jets for Spike and Faye. And Faye! Them yellow-vinyl-covered mmm hmm! Ed and Ein are both really cool characters, too. It's a subtle, somewhat sad anime despite it's superficial action and up beat first impression.

Try Trigun Terronium (alliteration FTW). It's a funny action packed show that also gets crazy at the end.

Hmm.. hate to seem pushy, but it would be sad to see someone miss out on what is arguably the best anime to date (yes, better that NGE). I also highly recommend Baccano! and FLCL, and very different from them Mushi-shi and Moribito. And I think I may have said already, but Crest/Banner of the Stars and Legend of Galactic Heroes are probably most in line with Gundam tastes. Just trying to share.
