Up to episode 18 of Bokurano. 🤬 keeps getting real! As soon as you thought it got as real as it was gonna get, it gets realer. :)

Glad to hear you're liking it. :)

Atmosphere was really good, but I've heard that the actual plot doesn't get thrown into the show until episode 20. I can watch other "mature" shows without wading through 20 episodes of slice of life cowboy.

Mostly all I'm hearing is nostalgia talk.

Since when is Cowboy Bebop slice-of-life? With the exception of a couple low-key episodes which could be considered borderline (I guess...), it's definitely not. Episodic =/= Slice-of-life

And if it's the episodic nature of Cowboy Bebop that bothers you, well... your loss? Each misadventure of theirs is either action-packed, laugh-out-loud hilarious, Über-emotional... or often all of the above.

The "actual plot" is interweaved throughout the show. It doesn't just spring out of nowhere during the end. But it certainly becomes more prominent at the end, since the end is obviously where the major plot reaches its climax.

I will say that both FMA series have their good point and bad points, FMA:B didn't draw much attention to the relationships in the beginning so the emotional investment isn't nearly as strong(even though the same things are being portrayed).

But where Brotherhood succeeds is the story, after all is said and done with the recap-ish episodes, there's a wonderful story that is much grander than the original series'. Brotherhood also has Ling and he's awesome.

We need more activity, the bronies will gain on us at this rate!!

Hurry, someone talk about something that will produce 18 pages overnight!

BTW, forgot I'm trying to earn up money to buy this thing (I'm happier and enjoy it more when I buy anime with my own money I earned, instead of getting the stuff for Christmas or my birthday.), so if I fail to earn enough by then, it'll be on the list.

That Christmas list of mine will be final next week, so I have until then. I could use allowance money I use to buy manga to get that thing, and put the manga on the list instead.

I guess it's just the episodic aspect. I'm not going to drop the show though... don't wanna get flamed out of the thread..

Yeah, you definitely will get flamed out the very second you drop it. I will say this, Cowboy Bebop in the teens is much, much better than the early episodes. Episodes 25 and 26 don't disappoint. Two of the best episodes I've ever seen, and it has one of the most discussed endings of all time, and a famous quote is attached to it.

Won't say anything about it though as it's massive spoilers, more so than that TTGL spoiler T-12 put out for you.

I already know what happens. To an extent.

Oh, and about the episodic thing again. Samurai Champloo was also episodic and I looooveeddd it. Maybe it's because I prefer samurais to cowboys.. maybe.

Don't tell me you got spoiled about 26, please don't tell me you got spoiled about 26, please don't tell me you got spoiled on about 26...:(

I got spoiled on it after Toonami's cancellation (Due to that quote I was talking about being used in the cancellation bump after Samurai Jack). I looked things up on Wikipedia about Toonami, and they spoiled me. That was months before I would ever try the show (I started at episode 11 as that's when I first caught it on [as].).

Purge it from your mind, purge it, just like I'm trying to purge a Clannad After Story spoiler about episode 17 still. It's been months since I foolishly opened that spoiler tag, I must purge it, or come up with false thoughts so I think it's something else.

I told you not to! I TOLD YOU NOT TO!

Hopefully I'll forget it by the time I watch Clannad After Story. I MUST forget it or my experience will be ruined a bit.:(

Now the question is whenever I'll start. That Rightstuf package hasn't arrived with the subbed-only Clannad sets. I'll probably put Dragon Ball Z on-hold again to focus on Clannad.

Good thing they're space cowboys.

Space Cowboys > Samurais > Cowboys > Steins;Gate

Speaking of Steins;Gate, I have a feeling this month it'll be solicited for a March 2012 release. I wonder if Loli will buy it as soon as it comes out, especially when it'll be found for like $50 wherever he goes.

SPAAAACE > Space Cowboys.

The bronies are moving fast. The last time I checked they were closing in. I don't know how much longer we will last :scared:
They have us beat; they post like 3 images per post, 20+ images per page... don't even bother. It's a lost effort, but at least we discuss things

But what about Space Samurais? Anywhoo, nice to hear Samurai Champloo mentioned as well. Another one of my very favorites! Fuu! (no, not your Fuu Cano...)

As soon as possible.

Space samurais would be awesome. And Samurai Champloo was awesome, the story was so good.

Beware, waiting for a few months can lead to that limited edition part 1 to sell out, so you won't have that very nice high-quality chipboard artbox to store part 1, and part 2 in.

Finished Black Butler 6, that was a really good episode. After this is where the manga is no longer involved, we'll see how it is..

Speaking of the manga, that is pretty much always on the New York Times Manga Best-Seller list, and stays on there for weeks to months.
Playing Mirai Nikki 9...

Rest of Witchblade is on cue for tonight, that's if I don't fall asleep.
How do you fall asleep through these shows anyway? Is it because of how many apparently bore you seeing as your MAL mean score for completed is below 7?
