Don't worry, you'll fare just fine. Evangelion kicks major ass, even with all the commentary on ceilings.
*Looks up* OH, this ceiling again.

Guess I have an F- for having Haruhi still on-hold after like 2 episodes.Going to get back to it in the next few months as I finally figured out what order I'll watch the episodes in (And then deal with season 2.).
Don't know how long it'll take me to watch NGE when I hopefully get it. BTW, what should I watch first, the dub or the sub? Which one will give me the better NGE experience.
I recommend seeing Steins;Gate, so it's a contradiction to say not to listen to me and also to watch Steins;Gate.![]()
I personally prefer NGE's dub, but others might disagree.
They weren't TOO boring to me either, but I enjoyed Steins;Gate's first two episodes.

Others like me. Subs all the way. Just can't stand any dubs. Sure, a few of them are alright but they are mostly so bad I just don't even bother looking for dubs anymore.
I watch mostly dubs, and I rarely encounter dubs that are truly awful. You might commonly get an annoying-sounding character or two... but that's no different for Japanese voices.
I think since you mostly watch dubs you are just immune to how bad most of them are lol.
Most shows truly are better subbed IMO. I think Cowboy Bebop may be the one exception. Excel Saga is great both dubbed and subbed as well as NGE.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKo-54rdHUY&feature=youtu.be&t=11sAnd from what I've heard of the Madoka dub, just go away Madoka dub.
Fullmetal Alchemist has an awesome dub too!
But for the most part, I'm all about subs.
Putting F/SN on my computer right now, might watch an episode or two... or I'll start Geass.
This. Most people that like dubs, or claim they aren't bad, generally haven't watched much anime subbed. CBBB is one possible exception, but English dubs are generally very bad, even if they have one lead character down well, the rest just detract from the experience I feel.

Bokurano is soon, man. As in, I actually intend to watch it.
Japanese voice actors aren't inherently leagues better than English ones. Sure, voice acting might be a more common or respectable profession over there, but that doesn't necessarily make 'em better.
I totally agree with you.Loliblade ver2Yaywalter is the greatest, oh my god I love him soooooo much
Then where's MY colour code(s)? Damn frauds.

I'll start the first episode ofGeassFate/Stay NightBokurano in a second.
Okay, I don't really have as much of a problem withLelouch'sShiro'sDung Beetle's character design as I had originally thought.
