Just watched the first episodes of Welcome to the NHK and Clannad.
NHK left me confused. Also, with the appliances coming to life and that weird thing dancing during the credits freaked me out. I don't think I will return to that.
Clannad, on the other hand, seems pretty good. I think I like anime that take place during high school, so if any of you suggest any more anime to me, this may also be a good category too. I also think I have a think for Tsunderes and girls with ahoges (how do you pronounce that any way?). It also seems very funny. Plus I love the credit song. Only complaint is that the blonde dude sounds like he is about 10 years old. I feel this will be the next one I watch fully.

Thanks for reminding me to rewatch the NHK OP and ED!!!! In order to appreciate this show, you have to have some serious life experience, be at least 16 to even get it a little bit, and have lived on your own for a while to really get it very much. But for those of us who get it, it hits home like no other, and seriously is a masterpiece, one of the best animes ever made!

looked for some clips to share but mostly quality was poor or out of context the ones chosen by posters seem rather... dirty. Like the sexy nun...
More than any other show, NHK had me laughing so hard I cried at times.

Anyway, Birdy the Mighty: Decode 13, and Birdy the Mighty: The Cipher (OVA-there is a Birdy OVA from 1997, but I don't really know what it's about. The Birdy series has quite a bit of history behind it.)...
Not the best of a last episode, but it was satisfying. Also nice, Tsutomu asked Birdy to kill him again the same way to get rid of the Ryunka, so here we are again, he just got his body back, and now he's back in Birdy's again.
The OVA wasn't all that great, but it was on par with pretty much any episode in the TV series.

Don't be fooled into watching it, it's just a show about panties, wash basins, and has one of the weakest plots I've ever seen, but in the end, 6/10.

Haven't been very active toda, er, yesterday.
But I did get the answer to my question regarding Kai, and I've only two things to say:
1. Funimation, Gohan sounds like a bitch.
2. You completely butchered the scene by overlaying some other original Japanese audio piece and completely killed the effect. And what that hell was with Gohan replaying the sequence of events in his head? The entire point is for him to snap (in silence); what about this don't you understand? You made the same mistake with the original Z.
Cut it the 🤬 out.

That intermission for humour was so dumb... They kill the dangerous aura of Ninth with sudden light-hearted speech and silly moods... I'm feeling the same way Cano is about Trigun on this...

I wish this show would maintain a serious tone as well. The little humorous stuff is cutesy, but not necessary.

Guess I have an F- for having Haruhi still on-hold after like 2 episodes.
Then I'll tell you what and what not to watch I guess. Seeing as I have finished the series now and need to watch Disappearance and that's it. Length of it looks epic.
