About $80 a piece (got them cheap) including backstage passes.

Man, I were in a better financial position then I'd buy you tickets in a heartbeat. Everyone should see Maiden in their life at some point.

It's alright bro. Appreciate the offer though. I really want to. It's in 2 days now. I need to leave the area or I'm going to go ape**** on someone lol

Rime of the Ancient Mariner! Other then that they have too many great songs to rank. Favorite albums is hard to pick too. Probably Piece of Mind, Number of the Beast, or The Final Frontier for my favorite.

Saw them at the Detroit show last night.:bowdown:

Absolutely brilliant show. Alice Cooper opened for them and that performance would have been worth the price of admission alone. Then Maiden came out and were flawless for 2 hours plus. Lots of lights, backdrops and pyro all added to the fun. Tons of energy from the whole band.

Great, great show and it's amazing to me how well Bruce's voice has held up over the years. If you can get tickets for one of the remaining concerts, I cannot recommend highly enough, that you buy them and get yourself to the gig!

The main reason for Bruce's voice holding is due to his lifestyle. He's a health and fitness nut so his body is operating really well, meaning he can still use his voice. Singers like Geoff Tate, Rob Halford... Not so much from what I know.

I love how he manipulates songs to go higher pitched parts sometimes than the studio has. I personally beleive they perform and sound better live than on some studio albums (excluding the synth stuff). I'd like to see a re-record of the Trooper with all 3 guitarists playing. I love how Janick introduced a 3rd harmony to the main harmony and riff that Adrian and Dave wrote (part with the trills).

Just look at Axl Rose...

Exactly the same set-list as when I went to see them, I only knew half the songs then but I know every single damn one now and have every one of their albums. I hope they come back to the UK soon.

Awesome! Originally I was disappointment with Coheed and Cambria's setlist, as they weren't playing my favorite songs by them, but they were so much heavier live that it was awesome. Before last night I never thought of them as a metal group, but that show surprised me. Then they finished their set and there was a short break before Maiden came onstage.

Wow! Maiden played for 2 and a half hours straight and it went by so fast! They were just amazing! No more needs to be said, except that The Prisoner is an awesome song, and it should be played at every show :) And Janick Gers might have been drunk

Up the Irons \m/

It was a whole year yesterday that I saw Maiden and today is Bruce Dickinson's birthday.

Indeed. I was surprised because they were actually playing some Maiden on the radio, it was great!

Nice, Run To The Hills is the only song by them I ever hear on the radio. Which is of course their most played I would say.
