Man I wish I had a copy of it. Although there is probably a bunch of videos on YouTube of it.

I think Maiden holds the record for the fastest sell out, ever now. I just saw a thing on Google news saying they added a new London show after the first show sold out in 12 minutes.

Also Loudwire has an article saying the Bruce Dickinson has been teaching disabled people how to fly planes. 👍 for Bruce!

Myself and Liquid (otherwise known as Thom) are going to be attending the concert on August 3rd, I'm thinking about making a whole to do with it. How would everyone feel about that?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLASE

You lucky son of a bitch. I'm jealous. I wanted to go to mine so badly....

I'm sure that there will be another opportunity for you, don't worry! I'll have a chat with Thom about it and see what's what.

Well, the last time before last year they were here was 2005...really don't want to wait another 6-7 years.

Happy belated birthday to Bruce!

What you said!

On the other hand, last Saturday was absolutely phenomenal! I will do a full write-up of things at some point (remind me!). Here's a snap I got from Aces High!

Nice man! Wish I could have made mine, they are such a phenomenal band live. I'd rather listen to their live work than studio stuff. That's saying something.

They were absolutely sublime and their setlist was nothing short of killer! I really enjoyed The Evil That Men Do and Fear Of The Dark the most, they really know how to get a crowd working in such a large arena!

Yeah the Maiden England 2013 tour has an amazing setlist, except that it's missing Hallowed Be Thy Name. This is the only tour since that song came out it hasn't been played. Other than that, it's fantastic. Even Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, I watched a video from the venue the concert I was supposed to go was at and it was fantastic. It was odd watching the video and hearing the pyrotechnics and fireworks...because the pattern it was in was the same I had heard the night previously outside

Apparently the people who attended on the 3rd got the better night (thankfully!). I did miss that one quite a lot as it is a personal favourite but Wasted Years made up for it in heaps!

Wasted Years was an awesome addition but they've been playing that for a while now.

Very true, but they didn't play it on the date I saw them previously (6th August 2011) which was The Final Frontier World Tour.

That's surprising they didn't, seeing that it's pretty much been full time on their setlist since the Somewhere Back in Time Tour.

Speaking of which I would love if they started playing more Somewhere in Time material.

Indeed, The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner would be greeted with a warm welcome.

They've got the 3 guitar players so there is no reason not to. It's only been played live one time.

Ey.

Telling you now.

Hearing Afraid To Shoot Strangers LIVE is one of the best things I have ever experienced.

Great concert.

I do love that that song was included in the setlist. Amazing, I've seen videos of them playing it now.

Wow reading this thread back from when it started.....I can definitely say time hanged people. Songs I didn't care for 2 years ago I adore now. Things do grow on you.

Sorry for the double post but Steve Harris does no approve. Made my night.

I don't think any metal fan would approve of said album. Or recording artist, for that matter.

I'm interviewing Blaze Bayley on 107.8 Academy FM in just under five minutes! If you'd like to take a listen to visit our website via http://www.academyfmthanet.com.

Is that interview available for listening to anywhere?
